Always loved Crouchy! Great personality.

If you've some time on your hands, listen to his podcasts, bloody hilarious. (y)

Crouch is great to listen to, ironically the other two professional broadcasters aren't. They represent the forced, lad banter of the noughties at its cringey worst.

Re. Kane, well yeah let's hope he sees it the same way as Crouch says, buy realistically we have to start winning this season. I'm sure he'd rather have 5 la liga titles and the odd champions league to his name than 'Spurs legend' with an empty cabinet. He's better than Benzema and it's only natural that he'd be looking enviously at his ridiculous haul of medals

Nice one Crouchy.

The grass may not be greener but I'm pretty sure the sky is bluer and the sun is warmer.
You seen how much snow they've had in Madrid? Chelmsford is definitely the better weather

at the moment

The Sixteenth Chapel, watching it go from a joke to what it became was magnificent.

Whatever Roy Keane thought about it all, I bet it had the word "fuck" in it at least twice.

Think Kane might of missed his chance for Madrid think they’ll go younger like M’Bappe or Haaland

Haha, the grass isn't greener.......that's straight out of the Levy handbook.

All we need is another former player to come out with 'be careful what you wish for' and we can call bingo.

Just show him the list of ex Spurs that goes along with that mnemonic device,
Divorced, beheaded, died, failed at Inter, beheaded survived...

Or something like that. :cautious:

Real can't afford shit now anyway with the debts they've racked up, renovating the Bernabeu mid-pandemic.

Feck Real Madrid. Two bob club.

I remember when they built that platform thing to unveil Bale.

Feckin pretenders...

We built a World class stadium to unveil him on his return.

True, but it doesn't guaranty happiness. Places like RM can make your life miserable very quickly. Look how Bale was treated. If he'd stayed at Spurs he would have enjoyed his football for the last 7 years, been hero worshiped, probably won a trophy or three for/with us and he'd still be on about 300,000k (not to be sniffed at)... and a statue! Add into that that Kane is a Spurs fan and will go down in the history books as a legend – possibly even greater than Greaves!

13 trophies including 4 champions leagues and 2 league titles, and a contract paying over 540k a week. Yes, the last couple of years may have been miserable but I'm not sure he regrets making the move. But that's not for me to say. I just think most players would rather go and fail, than end their careers wondering 'what if'. I definitely get that sense from Shearer not moving to United, even though he was worshiped at Newcastle. You get to the top by backing yourself to succeed.
