In the 3 seasons Lineker was with us he was a goal scoring machine. One of the best strikers in the world scoring about 80 goals for us in 3 seasons that's legendary numbers imo. Not to mention the brace in the semi's against the scum when him and Gazza led us to victory in a proper cup when it still meant something to win it.

The only thing Keano has on Lineker is time with the club but during his time here he's never came close to reaching the heights Gary did. Lineker is a legendary striker and Keanos nowhere near his level.

top top quality player for us?.. yes....great servent in his 3 years?... yes

he scored 67 goals for us by the way( not a critisism)

Legend??..not for me. and neither is keane...

Maybe even too much of a gentleman, should have literally cut Fashanu's bollocks off with a rusty bread knife after what he did to him.

Considering he battled against the affects of Diabetes as well he is a legend in the true sense of the word.

Here's Coruka on his recent poor form and not being in the team.

Corluka, who is currently on international duty with Croatia, is determined to prove his worth at White Hart Lane.

"I honestly do not feel like a player who is out of form," he told the Croatian press. "It is true that I've watched from the bench in a few games but, my God, better players than me have sat there so I don't see why it would be the reason for any trauma.

"I was really bad against Werder Bremen. There is no justification for such a game.

"But, after three years of playing without rest, it's logical that there is a period when these things don't go the way you'd imagined. There is no drama.

"Just as I've enjoyed it before, I now have to accept the other side of the coin and win back my position."

Can you ever imagine Keane saying the same? No. He's in it for himself first and the club and the rest of us second. When he was good it was an acceptable attitude, now...

Couldn't agree more, those slow head bowed, sulky trudges off when he's been subbed when we are losing drives me nuts, as he wastes our own time.

True about that complete ****, Fashanu. Still, Mabs could even pull off the Phantom of the Opera look with aplomb. Forgot about the diabetes thing.

Damn, that's refreshing to see.
