People cant even bad mouth Keane, ever time Keane comes of we go down a notch. And the fact that hes our top scorer and comes off all the time is a piss take.

no defiantly not chief. just saying that he has no passion/loyalty for or with the club so, in my eyes, it only shows disrespect.

you know keane would never disrespect the club thats why i think this is blown way out of proportion.

but what he did was disrepecting the club. Just because he kisses the badge and crys when we win a trophy doesn't differentiate what he did from what Ghaly did.

Unless of course if does.

According to BEN he's been fined two weeks wages. Good news.

So if your going to take 1 of your front 2 off to create this then you look to see which of them has the most to offer for you in terms of holding the ball and creation and Berbatov is better than Keane in both departments, therefore it's not too difficult a decision. Add in that Ramos apparently wanted us to get more crosses in and that both Berbatov & Bent are infinitely more dangerous than Keane from crosses and it really wasn't too difficult a decision.

But add in that Berbatov was having probably the wankiest game of his life and it becomes clear that it was a bad decision.

Not that this excuses Keane's actions in any way. I'd put his strop in the same category as Chimbo's. I don't see how it's comparable to Ghaly's though, who took off and threw down the shirt he was wearing, which was a clear 'fuck you Spurs'.

...

... in the only muddy area in the entire stadium, right in front of the manager's face.

I'd say it's completely distinguishable. :)

The only reason Keano was taken off is the club is trying to keep Berbs sweet so that he doesn't disappear in the summer.

Its the only logical explanation for Berbs having the stinkiest game I have seen in ages, Keano scoring and being our main threat and Keano being replaced - weird decision by Ramos.

Shame that Keano reacted the way he did, but anyone who says he hasn't earned more consideration than Hossam 'I have a 0.9% pass success ratio' Ghaly and Pascal 'show me the money' chimbonda is clearly one of those group of supporters that seem to be very anti Keano for some reason...

Also a fine of two weeks wages is retarded - hopefully thats just the usual bullcrap they print in The Mirror...

It's keep Berbatov happy time alright.

Anyway the physio told me that the track suit handed to Keane was Ghaly's old unwashed one from the bottom of the kit bag.

Keano, the most determined player we have, to sink Chelsea tomorrow night.

I agree that berbs wasn't having his best game, however Bent can only operate right at the very front and we surely wanted him to stretch their back 4 in behind.

This means that the other striker has to play slightly deeper and wether he was playing well or not Berbs is much better in this role than Keane.

Keane might have run about quite a bit and there is no doubt that he took his goal brilliantly, but overall he wasn't exactly have the best of days himslef and in the 2nd half he was more or less anonymous.

I believe that Ramos is a very good in game coach, he saw what we needed, felt that Keane was having a difficult time up front and that he needed a different more pacy option to stop City holding such a high line and pushing play into our half. Good day or bad day there are very few players who link the play better than Berbatov and its natural to want to have your best player on the pitch.

Remember Bent did have a perfectly good goal disallowed.

For all the good Jenas was doing, we might as well have swapped him for Bent.

And much as I like Zokora, O'Hara for him would have been better.

Keane's guile and commitment should have meant he stayed on. Berbs looked even more like my old hero Archibald. Sometimes he played, sometimes he just didn't fancy it.

Sell the lot of 'em, I say. It's the only language they understand.

Build an entirely new squad around Jamie O'Hara and Bale.

Keano has nothing to be ashamed about regarding his Sunday 'strop'. He did what he did but for a good reason. He CARES about this club....and alot more than some of the critics who 'claim' to be Yid's! Robbie has more YID in his 'Aura' than many on here....COYS!

Yeah, play shit for 87 minutes, and score a peach

If Dawson was playing instead of King, Bent would have come on for Keane.

Great goal yes, but doesn't eclipse the poor performance for me.

I'm sorry but no player should have behaved like he did. Spurs legend or not.

Don't get me wrong, fantastic goal. But I didn't feel he offered much today.

He ran his arse off closing down, competing for balls that I was told the other day he didn't compete for, was unlucky not to get another goal to add to the cracker he got. But as I say, you're back on form.

If possible please show some footage of him competing for 1 ball tonight.

For 88 minutes Berbatov battled his bollocks off doing the work of 2 men and then I hold my hands up and say Keane scored a peach of a goal, but his overall performance was dismal.
