So yesterday I tried to buy the new home shirt, on the spurs site for £44.99, fine thats about right. Could I order it, could I buggery, the site just timed out every time. I go on there today and it's now £60!!!! Is this just the online price does anyone know, will my local JJB Sports have it for the normal £40 odd?

I do love this club, but they're taking the piss out of us fans with these kits aren't they, it used to be every 2 years?

basically another way to scam some money out of us fans

Well, not really as they're selling replica ones mainly. They're selling the players' ones as well for people who want them (as I seem to remember people complaining last season that the replica shirts weren't as good as the players' ones).

Well, yes really as they're selling sub-standard shirts as the norm and then making us pay £20-odd more to get a decent one!

That's always been the case though, hasn't it? With all clubs' kits. That's why they're replica kits.

That's a smart move, in my book - for the casual armchair fan, or the guy in the stands, there's the replica but for those who want to wear it as a sports shirt, rather than a fashion accessory (which, lets face it, when you're going to see your team that's all a replica shirt is).

I would imagine that the cut will also be drastically different - i like the fact we have a choice too - some clubs wouldn't have offered that, just rolled out one or the other

So they're selling actual player spec shirts this season...?

As a bit of a shirt aficionado I find this VERY exciting .

no, it's the difference between casual cut, for lounging, a material that's comfortable to drink beer in, and a better fitting, more active friendly cut that's made from materials designed to aid exercise and such...

not hard to see that

fair answer actually, i guess if they were only selling the 60 players shirt then i would have a point.

Yeah, and as RSS said, I think it's good to have the choice. I'll still go for the cheaper replica, as I don't like to play in Tottenham shirts as not to ruin them, so if I got the £60 one, I'd want even less to play in that as it's worth more, which would defeat the point of getting it for me.

Apparently the club asked the fans what we wanted, and they said we wanted new kits every season!

Didn't bloody ask me!!!!
