ACADEMY IN FINAL

History repeated itself as our Academy side booked a place in Sunday's final of the Tournoi International de Football de Monthey in Switzerland.
They overcame Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 in Saturday night's semi-final in Monthey with Tomas Pekhart on target - a carbon copy of the semi-final result and goalscorer from the Eurofoot Tournament back in August, which the lads went on to win.
This time Pekhart (pictured) struck from the spot after Ryan Mason was brought down by the Eintracht goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the 70-minute match.
They will now face Sporting Club de Portugal in the final of the Under-20 tournament after the Lisbon side beat Real Murcia 3-1 in the second semi-final.

 This is fantastic!

The final is played today, at some point as well.

Inglethorpe realy does sound like he has these players doing well. COYS!

Any ideas how Daniels and Barcham are doing at Orient?

According to the O's official site, Daniels has (since the start of the season)

League 24 (7sub) (2 goals)
FA 2
Carling 1 (1sub)

While Barcham has 15 league apps, 10 of which were as sub, scoring just 1 goal, since joining orient later, in november.

In the blurb on barcham it says he'll be hoping to make a "similarly impressive impact" to daniels. One goal in 15 doesn't suggest he's managed that, but maybe daniels could do a half season loan to a championship side then come back to look for first team apps? Playing well in league 1 doesn't mean you're ready to compete to play for spurs imho.

Pekhart and Livermore scored the goals. Just got the Spurs Mobile text.

Superb achievement and a great way to take our minds off the first team's performance today.

 well done lads, nice to see the youngsters doing well, I, as well as a lot of fans, absolutely love it when a good youth player comes through.

Also, so will the club with the homegrown rules in CL

well done to the youngsters, just need to see them build on this and get reserve games next season.
