In reality Tiger didn't really do much wrong at all in repects of Nike. Not exactly the best role model in the world but it's hardly a bad image in terms of branding is it? lol Shagging every bit of hot ass going. Atleast he had the balls to admit it too.

In fact "just do it" seems to be a perfect slogan.

And this comment pretty much nails it on the head for me "It's strange that this was only based on testimonies."

As RM said, what happens if people decide they hate Cavendish in a few years as hes a bit brash like a number of sprinters are?

The Indurain comment made me wonder more about him than Lance....heres some context for you that i found yesterday. The winner of the Alp D'Huez stage at last years Tour (2011 i think) would have come 40th (!) in the same stage in the 2001 race so hard not to conclude that the clean up has had a BIG impact on average times.

You'd hope the bio-passport data would back either position. Armstrongs "conviction" was based on more than just loads of witness testimoney.

5 Live reporting that Armstrong is apparently going to confess soon. I'm sure his fanboys will still find some excuse to insist he's innocent.

I am not, and I don't see why I should be. Unlike most English people I have no desire to have my heros shot down so I can feel better about myself. I like that I (a pessimist) for once had faith in people. Now he has confessed he needs jail time and he needs all of his assets stripped.

I feel let down, but certainly not embarrassed.

And nothing to be embarrassed about either, you believed, rightly or wrongly that he was innocent.

He isn't, it's gutting, if you or anyone felt he deserved herioc status.

The deception of this bloke, the whole livestrong thing.. it goes beyond words this level of deciept to be honest with you, one of the worlds greatest cons - not sure if thats too far, or not far enough.
