yea im just going on what rob said as what lies beneath has had pretty solid info and if hes saying lautaro is top of our list then ill believe it but obviously pinch of salt etc
I can see the logic if Kane is staying but his attraction weakens drastically for me if Harry goes to City.

If harry goes and we were able to bring in him and vlahovic they'll both need a season to adapt to the prem but think they could work very well together like keane & berba did

Yes, I can see that working. Martinez is certainly not a lone striker and will need support up front.

I'd always believe JJ over Gards. I do hope on this occasion it is Gards that is correct however.
Would be great if JJ communicated using words rather than emojis. They are so open to misinterpretation and could mean literally anything half the time.
thats why he does it I believe. He got caught out numerous times previously where things have changed to ‘we’ve got him’ on a Monday, to ‘we’ve lost him’ on a Tuesday. I get the feeling he’s aware that Martinez isn’t agreed. And his ‘ok cool’ to Garda is a way of saying ‘if that’s what you think, I’m happy to let u crack on with it’. Things shared online can impact upon delicate negotiations between buyers & sellers. (Just my thoughts)

Yea think alot of last year conte played him off the RW role as well so could interchange with son etc if he does sign but that remains to be seen but lets hope the rest of the transfer window goes well its been pleasant so far big don paratici knows his stuff

For me, this link means Kane is going. Levy and Fabio will want to ensure the message is its to play with Kane so we don't weaken our negotiating position for this and other big signings. But it's the first concrete evidence for me that Kane is off. Which is something I'm ok with now.

I'd be happy with him. However, I think think we need a back to goal striker.

Even if Harry stays, he isnt a lead the line striker any more

Would be sensible to buy Lautaro before another striker, as either he can play with Kane or if Kane is sold we don’t seem desperate for a striker, and clubs can’t use that against us.

The formation fascinates me.

He has played 433 in every game so far. So you would imagine 3 at the back is a no no.

442 with 2 world class strikers would be interesting but then you're left to fit in son, lo celso n'dombele etc.

Can martinez play wide? A 343 with kane as a false 9 and son and martinez either side?
Or telling the media we want him to play up front with Kane to stop us being ripped off with them thinking we have the Kane money to spend! ?

Can he play narrow right in a front 3? That's the only position that makes sense. If we go with a 2 it will be Son alongside a 9. I still don't like our mix of attacking players. We have too many runners who want to get in behind. We need another who drops in to get on the ball like Kane does. If we get someone like Vlahovic as well then I'm all for it. Obviously we can only sign both if we have Kane money. Although I'm not sure a 10 who plays inside would be better if we sell Kane. Either that or get a 10 in the middle if we can afford one along with 2 strikers.

I'd actually prefer De Vrij to Skrinirar.
Yep, much, and I mean MUCH better compliment to Romero, not saying Skriniar is bad, if anything he was a bit better than De Vrij last season, but he’s redundant with Romero’s style. Not unplayable with Romero, and he has age on his side as compared to De Vrij, but De Vrij as a ball handler and sweeper is much more ideal next to Romero.
