That sits well enough with me, although can see Ade/Leandro not wanting to sit on the bench for too long, that's why a player like Villa (not sure as to the feasibility on this one) would be handy, as they can play wide and CF (and tend to think this is part of our academy structure thinking as I've seen Coulthirst and Obika play from wide as well as CF).
I am a big fan of Ade though, and if he carries his April/May form into next season then we have a very good forward on our hands. I'd definitely sell Defoe, I reckon we could cash in a few quid for him particularly to a mid EPL team who need a guarantee of 12 or so goals next season, I reckon we'd get plenty of offers for him.

Personally whenever I have watched Leandro he has reminded me of Ruud Van Nistelrooy - not massively great technique but has clever movement and a burst of acceleration to get into the right places in the box before his marker. A skill set that neither of our current strikers possess.

The pessimistic side of me is seeing this as "Leandro wants to play for a big club to cement his place in the world Cup squad. However, should one not come to the fore, Tottenham are an important club & just happen to be in London"..

Why the fuck would Leandro Damiao be answering questions on a social network site, from people he has no affiliation to, on a twitter id that's not even officially affiliated with him, in a language that he doesn't even speak, and with the correct grammar?.

No, maybe you need to read the original response again, take note that it ended with a statement about how ridiculous the TWEET was, followed by a "lol", then you'll perhaps be able to see & acknowledge that it was the TWEET I was mocking, not 'Powder Keg' for posting it.

Antilokhos - You're right fella, people have COMPLETELY misunderstood my post, though I thought I'd made it clear I was mocking the tweet, not the person who posted it on here, via the very last line I put in my response to it. I've dropped it, they seem to have dropped it, so hopefully the subject can move on & people will just continue to neg rep the shit out of it because they're not seeing it in the context in which it was written..
On a side note, though, I resisted neg-ing your post because nobody on here knows the circumstances of individual members. The reason I was going to neg it is because I have an autistic son, he is classed as 'retarded' & although I understand that people find mocking retarded people (I used to do it too when I was younger, I guess life is a great teacher?) I personally find it a bit offensive. The ironic thing is, even though my son is classed as retarded, at 7 years of age, he can write joined up, he knows all of his times-tables, he can solve literally ANY puzzle that's put in front of him, and give him an XBox game & he'll beat any bastard on here without even breaking a sweat lol.. Cleverer than any kid I've ever come across in my life
