BBC Live Text
14:16 GOAL - Leeds 1-0 Tottenham - Luke Varney
Elland Road goes wild as El-Hadji Diouf's dummy, or perhaps failure to get a flick forward, deceives two Spurs defenders and Luke Varney races through and confidently finishes past Brad Friedel. That's just what this cup tie needed.
15:10 GOAL - Leeds 2-0 Tottenham - Ross McCormack
A wonderful goal, worthy of winning any FA Cup tie. El Hadji Diouf splits the two Spurs centre-backs and sends Ross McCormack scampering through on goal. The Scot shows tremendous composure to check back inside Steven Caulker and curl his effort home from just inside the area. Elland Road is rocking now.
15:17 GOAL - Leeds 2-1 Tottenham - Clint Dempsey
Spurs are back in this one - thanks to that predatory striker Clint Dempsey! Gareth Bale beats two men down the left and Dempsey gets in front of his marker to head home the cross.
15:21 SUBSTITUTIONAVB has decided to shake things up as he goes in search of an equaliser. Jonathan Obika and Mousa Dembele are on for Tom Huddlestone and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
15:26 SUBSTITUTION Spurs rotate the Kyles with Walker coming on for Naughton.
15:33 SHOWBOAT Great skill from Gareth Bale as he pirouettes past Sam Byram and whips in a cross. It was a moment of pure brilliance when everyone around you all shoots 'ooohh'. It doesn't bring a goal though and Leeds go straight up the other end and almost make it 3-1 but Ross McCormack can only fire straight at Brad Friedel from a tight angle after getting in front of Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
15:40 YELLOW CARD Jan Vertonghen has had an uncomfortable afternoon and he goes into the book after bringing down Ross McCormack. He is a tad unlucky though, because he was sold short by Mousa Dembele.
El Hadji Diouf steps up to take the free-kick and is also booked for taking too long.

Leeds United will be looking to cause an FA Cup upset when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Elland Road in the fourth round on Sunday afternoon.
The sides last met in the competition three years ago, when Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane before prevailing 3-1 in the replay.
Neil Warnock will hope there is a different outcome this time around, although Leeds have struggled to find consistency in the league this season and needed a replay at St Andrew's to overcome Birmingham in the previous round of the FA Cup.
Leeds beat Bristol City 1-0 last weekend to move 11th in the Championship table, five points adrift of the play-off places.
Tottenham go into the clash on an eight-match unbeaten run in all competitions, having snatched a last-gasp equaliser against Manchester United in their most recent Premier League outing.
Spurs are currently fourth in the Premier League and will be focused on securing UEFA Champions League qualification, but they would also love to claim some silverware and Andre Villas-Boas has picked strong teams in the cup competitions this term.
Tottenham, who were knocked out at the semi-final stage by Chelsea last season, beat Coventry City 3-0 in the third round.

Leeds
Leeds manager Neil Warnock will have to decide whether to start with Luciano Becchio after he submitted a transfer request earlier this week.
There are likely to be a couple of changes as Warnock aims to keep his squad fresh, with Jamie Ashdown perhaps replacing Paddy Kenny in goal.
Aidy White and Sam Byram are set to occupy the full-back positions, with Lee Peltier and Tom Lees to continue in central defence following Alan Tate's departure.

Tottenham
Tottenham will be without the injured Sandro and Younes Kaboul (both knee), while Emmanuel Adebayor is on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Togo.
Andre Villas-Boas is expected to select a strong line-up but may decide to give opportunities to a couple of youngsters and fringe players.
Aaron Lennon will be keen to start against his former club, having started his career at Elland Road before switching to Spurs in 2005.

Leeds striker Luciano Becchio is in contention to face Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, despite handing in a transfer request.
Becchio has asked to leave for "financial reasons" according to the Championship side. Meanwhile, boss Neil Warnock has a full side to choose from.
Defender William Gallas (calf) may play for Spurs having returned to training.
Midfielder Sandro (ligament damage) and defender Younes Kaboul (knee) are sidelined.

Head-to-head
• Tottenham have won 36 of 96 previous meetings with Leeds, who have prevailed in 31.
• Their most recent contests have been in the FA Cup, where Tottenham lead 4-1, knocking out their Yorkshire opponents after a fifth round replay in 1999 and a fourth round replay in 2010.
• Leeds' only success in the competition was a 2-1 victory in the 1972 quarter-finals on the way to winning the silverware for the only time in their history.
Leeds United
• If Leeds can avoid being knocked out by one of the two north London giants for the first time in four seasons, they will be on their best run in the FA Cup for a decade.
• The last time the Elland Road club won an FA Cup tie, prior to the victory over Birmingham in this season's third round, was against Manchester United in the third round three years ago, when Jermaine Beckford famously scored the only goal of the tie at Old Trafford.
• That is the only occasion the Whites have knocked out a top-flight club since Arsenal in February 1997, when Leeds also held Premier League status.
Tottenham Hotspur
• Only Manchester United and Arsenal have won the FA Cup more often than Tottenham's eight, but they have not lifted the trophy since 1991 despite being semi-finalists in two of the last three seasons.
• Spurs have also been fourth round victims in three of the last five years, but have only lost one of their last 18 against second level league clubs; Leicester won 3-2 in the third round at the Walkers Stadium in January 2006.
• The 3-0 victory over League One Coventry in this season's third round was Spurs' 29th triumph in 30 ties against lower league clubs.

Bradford is off tomorrow due to a frozen pitch and looking at some webcams in Leeds the snow looks quite thick. Any danger it'll be off ?

It's going mad up here ! The M6 is now shut ! If this carries on overnight there's no chance it'll be on. Health & safety round the ground plus they wouldn't want anyone setting off and getting stranded.

Well we are looking at three games in a week here, might be a blessing in disguise for our two away games in the league - which are in quick succession.

Although that depends on the side AVB was going to pick. Still hope its on though!

Chance for a couple of young uns?

Carroll & Townsend?

Under 21 line up today :

Tottenham Hotspur@SpursOfficial
Our U-21 Team vs Southampton: Miles, Fredericks, Gallifuoco, Veljkovic, Barthram; Luongo, Mason, Pritchard, Parrett, Ceballos & Coulthirst

No Carroll, Townsend, Obika or Stewart, all of whom have been in first team squads - Obika came on for last 20 mins or so against Carlisle.

So you are correct, several possibilities of involvement by some youngsters.

Incidentally (and off topic) Coulthirst marked his u 21 debut with a goial - he could be a very useful striker in the future.

Spursidol, if there was some kind of forum functionality to auto-rate every post you make as "Informative" I'd jump on it. About 50% of my knowledge about our youth teams comes directly from your posts. Love your work.

It was pretty crazy last night but most of the snow has melted during today and it's due to be pretty warm overnight! Main roads are all clear and I know a lot of people who work at the stadium and there's no rumblings from them that this'll be off.

I always loved the clashes between Leeds and us in the past, particularly in Revie's time with Bremner, Collins, Joe Jordan and gang. Great battles both home and away making for a great atmosphere on match days. I for one am a little sad to see how Risdale and the ex Arse anal that became their manager destroyed such a fine club, even if they've always been dirty bastards.
With AVB's tactics of late I fail to see how we will not win this game.

I definatly want to see Townsend start over Bale, we'll need him 100% fit for the 2 away games coming up. would like to give Dembele a rest too for Carroll as he seems a little tired the past couple of game.

Interesting to note that Leeds Utd were only founded in 1920, and it took them ages to achieve any sort of success, and then in a blink of an eye they were anonymous again. Even more interesting to know that their predecessor, Leeds City, went bust in 1920 as a result of corrupt practices involving Herbert Chapman. Remember him?
