Perhaps we are witnesses to the beginning of the Berbatov legend They all start somewhere. Personally, I feel he has all the attributes but needs to be around a bit more than two seasons.

Hi Juande As I've said before I've seen all the great Spurs players live going right back to Jones White Mackay etc - so am clearly over 25 (wish I wasn't)

the great tradition I refer to is players of the highest skill, artists like Greaves Ginola Hodd who didn't rely on sweat but sheer genius - and Berbs is of that lineage - and hence to me for the reasons I've already given Berbs is a Spurs legend (for me anyway, and doubtless some others too)

DC i do respect your views certainly more than others, as you say you have seen some of the greats, and yes when it comes to sheer Genius i do agree with you that he is up there, but that IMO does not make him a Spurs Legend, i think on this one my friend we will have to agree to disagree, i sit here safe in the knowledge that i have seen some truly wonderfull Spurs teams, and i just hope some of these kids on here get to see some more of the wonderfull players we have seen down the years.

Who said he was not twice the player, and yes i have seen the double team aswell, but Marsh was not fit to lace best boot, let alone be put in the same bracket as him

Again who said Keane is a Legend, i did not??? and no Marsh was not fit to lace George Best's boot, Best was one of the greatest players this world has ever seen, fact, Rodney Marsh was nowhere near.

Cheers Juande - I know we don't agree abourt spurs legends - I've even admitted I'm probably wrong in thinking Berbs is a legend - but that's the way I feel - same with Keane - again I'm probably 'wrong' etc - but hey people are allowed to have opinions and debate them

If I was saying Keane is our greatest ever goal scorer or Brbs for that matter - then call me stupid cos it ain't true - but Legend status - it's how you see it
