What's the point?

People on here, other sites & all around the world can/will prepare and make arrangements for this fixture, only for the PL and their bent as fuck panel to take a massive shit on everything.

How are supporters supposed to enjoy anything to do with the game these days?
Yep the Prem have to remember the game is a product, something to be watched by fans
Remember during the ESL debate how we heard that football without the fans is nothing
Of course once the ESL was squashed, unfairly IMO, that mantra was soon forgotten. Soon enough the fans were back to their role as cash cows and ratings fodder

unfortunately given the PL's craven acceptance of arsenal's piss-take request for a postponement they now cannot refuse Leicester if they make that request.

If Leicester ask for a postponement it will be granted. At this rate we will be playing every 2 days come the end of the season

Yep, but they won't, they want to play the game
They will also be quietly confident as without Dier and Romero they will fancy their chances

I think they need at least one covid case to apply.

That said I think they'll be keen just to get this one played regardless as they had a free weekend and like us have a lot of games to make up.

Edit: Looking at the injury table they could have as many as 7 players back for the game also (they have 5 as 100% including Soyuncu and Daka). Still will be missing massive players in Vardy, Ndidi, Evans and Iheanacho however. I assume their attack will include some of Perez, Lookman, Daka, Barnes and Maddison which will still cause us problems.

Thinking and looking back, I think our away form/performances have been pretty bad for a while now. I was searching through our league results and trying to pick out away performances where at the end I could easily say 'yeah we played well then' and I could find very few.... Of course people have different perceptions of what is good and what is not, people thought the Saints away performances was good and whilst I understood the difficulty of playing against 10 men, I still didn't think it was a 'good' performance. Some may say we were good in the Watford game, I would personally disagree but don't think we were greatly 'bad' either. I mean there have been others you could class as such through gritty performances but I mean ones where the football has just been good and convincing still.

For whatever reason I feel like we really struggle to play effective football away from home.

Was the last one United away in the 6-1 win?

Not looking forward to this one... I think we could witness Conte's first league defeat
Nah mate
Conte has had most of the squad being drilled for the last 2 weeks and I bet it's been like pre-season for some of them.
I'm looking forward to it as I'm hopeful we'll get something from this game.

They won't be applying. They're still in Europe, so unlike us facing the prospect of fixture congestion with just 18 Prem games played
They want the game to happen and will fancy their chances

Leicester are decimated.

I think we'll win this.

I think they can still line up with something like this:

Schmeichel

Justin
Soyuncu
Vestergaard
Bertrand

Choudhury/Soumare
Tielemans
Maddison

Lookman/Daka
Perez
Barnes

It's definitely a winnable game but there is enough there to trouble us, they beat Liverpool with a similar side.

Leicester missing 16 players according to physio room -

Injured
Evans
Vardy
Pereira
Fofana
Soumare
Castagne
Bertrand

Afcon
Iheanacho
Mendy
Amartey
Ndidi

The following should be back for our game
Luke Thomas
Soyuncu
James Justin
Dewsbury-hall
Daka

Until a handful picks up "knocks" in training and it's called off.

Just seen a likely front 4 of Daka Maddison Barnes lookman. I wouldn’t be to cocky.

Imo they have a fantastic squad better than us and Arsenal in depth. Been absolutely decimated with injuries this season.

That midfield will destroy ours apart from Skipp.

They can put a side out but how can you prepare for a game or even as a fan plan to go to a game when you know shit can change a day before.

I really wouldnt be surprised if Leicester say something but thats me being cynical.
