He's been outstanding..... his remit has been to be the extra man in the CM. Watched him closely and he's tracked back and stopped loads of counters and helped win possession. It's impacted his forward game, but I think he's been brilliant. Faded a bit now, but anyone would rhe running he's done

This is where we really see the awful recruitment coming to bite. When we need more threat or someone else to come and change the dynamic, we don't have anyone at all. Fresh legs can only do so much. That said, despite all the moaning in this thread, this has been a much better performance than the last half a dozen or so. Small margins, we could have had 3 or 4.
