We thoroughly dominated them tonight and didnt even get out of 1st gear. Thats how insane that was. We could have easily gotten 10, in all honesty. Just complete and utter dominance. It was over the minute it started.

We had our best start to a season since the Double season.
We drew a lot of early games and narrowly beat teams like boro and Sunderland. We stayed unbeaten, but we weren't in title winning form. To win the league we'd have to start and finish well.

You're right of course as we've had our best season since that era, but with a faster start we could have won it. Still it's been a great year.

I think if we would have played 3-4-3 from the start of the season we would have won the league personally, once we got knocked out of the CL and went to that formation is when we really started hitting our stride.

Mason and benteleb were very good for a season or so too.
I could be completely wrong but I can't see lamela playing next season with eriksen dele son and any potential new signings
if he is fit Lamela will bring a lot and add another component to a strong team. Remember he has already been schooled by Poch unlike a new signing

We're not even close to peaking yet. Dele will be even better next year and Kane if stays fit will likely score even more goals. Defence and central midfield is solid as and in Eriksen we've one of best playmakers in the league. We're so close. Replace Sissoko with a more suitable player and the squad is pretty much all set. We're going to be going into next season, ignore the odds, as the joint favourites.

What a performance and good to see we are finishing the season strongly. I know it's academic and it can't happen but I'd love a crack at both Man Utd and Arsenal in the two finals they are in next week because on this kind of form I would fancy us winning both in the same week COYS !!!!

October and November were the problem. Not the start.

It was the period when Toby was out where we dropped too many points. We have been so unlucky with injuries this season, which is conveniently forgotten by the media. If we have a full campaign injury free next season then the sky is the limit.

Are you kidding me Shreeves, talking about 'bigger clubs' coming in for Kane.

Disrespectful.

I'm not normally one to get bothered by Sky's obsession with selling off our team, but this pissed me right off.

I love Poch's dignified approach, but at times I'd love him to just tell them to fuck off ( in manager speak terms, not literally - although that would be funny :D).

Can you imagine Ferguson's reaction to a similar line of questioning? They'd ask him once and not dare again.
