We don't move the ball quickly enough simple as that ,Leicester got the ball from front to back in about 5 passes which resulted in an attempt at our goal on several occasions, we took 15/20 passes to get to the same area of the pitch but no attempt at their goal, this happened repeatedly with the moose the biggest culprit ,sideways ,sideways ,backwards .Leicester it's pass, pass, pass shot .Too fucking slow!

We’ve got ourselves in a right pickle, Davies and Trippier are too bloody slow, whereas our quicker full backs, one wants to leave and the other is crap. Sessegnon and KW-Peters are the future.

The last twenty minutes for me were good. We showed some urgency, passion and shifted the ball quickly. Lamela made a great impact and he could be the breath of fresh air to get us out of this slump.

Not taking any credit for this, as i copied it. But oh so true.

The last three strikers we have bought are:

Soldado
Janssen
Llorente

I think the club should seriously consider buying scouting competence before we buy another striker

N'jie, GNK and Sissoko as our pacy wide threat doesn't improve that list much does it :(

And yet he was incredible for Denmark. Surely you'd be flying after those performances. I thought he'd come back and kill it. Everyone, including Kane, look off the pace. We haven't got out of first gear in the PL for awhile.
He's been run into the ground. It was criminal that he played 85 minutes against Dortmund on the back of the International games and with an upcoming busy league period. In fact, playing a full strength team in that game when we had already qualified has probably cost us in the last two games.

What is he saying? Murphy is one of the better pundits imo

Saying about missing Victor and the combination through the season in that middle 2 that gives Dele etc the freedom to do there things further forward. Added what people have said about missing Toby.

We should have the quality to still beat these sides but we've lack the rhythm this season.

Poch says we need to learn to be aggressive from the start...that's funny we had that problem before and then learned ....must have forgotten...

At the end of the window we were laughing that we had taken Llorente from under Chelsea’s noses. Not laughing anymore

Willian, Hazard, CL qualification, fa cup semi final defeats, drawing with them to lose the league, finishing second to them in the league, and now Llorente. The trolling from Chelsea goes on and on....Why always Chelsea?

We struggle against sides who get in our faces and give us no time on the ball - this is particularly telling when Winks isn't in the centre.

I thought we were poor pretty much across the park tonight - full backs got into decent positions then did very little with it, Dembele was in the centre all by himself, Sissoko is Sissoko, Harry had a shoot on sight policy and Dele couldn't control the ball. Eriksen is shagged and Llorente is struggling. Son deserved to start after recent performances but we presumably thought he wouldn't have space to run into.

Plenty for Poch to work on, I wonder if we need to stop swapping and changing players and formations and stick to something for a bit?

I still think this is a dip rather than anything too serious but we are definitely in a battle for Top 4 - which I think is a requirement for next season in the new stadium. I still have full faith in Poch to sort this out - I suspect he wasn't a happy chappy watching that tonight so hopefully will crack the whip and get them all back into shape.

Great to see Lamela back involved - a yellow and an assist, it's like he's never been away.

and we also seem to struggle when teams just concede possession to us

Well that’s lifted my spirits after tonight’s game. Thanks (y).

Fair enough, thought he had a decent game myself though
I've tried not to get caught up in the take-on stats about him, but boy was it evident on Saturday. Tonight, both Rose and Aurier took on their men. We got into better positions than on Saturday, but just like Saturday the final ball was poor.

Dembele can never play in such games when the lesser teams has higher energy and moves faster than us. Being the more technical side, we are not able to catch up on speed, and yet adding Dembele in midfield will only slow us down further.

Great shield of ball and dribbler yes, but he is also liability in adding more pressure to us when moment of mistakes happened to him or opponents glide past him like hot knife to butter.. I seriously think Winks should be the more permanent option now. Even Onomah will be better suited in games like this when mobility is needed.

Dembele has past his prime. And coming on in games shoring up the midfield is a better option for him and the team. Less strain on his body too.

That said, I really wish to sign Barkley this Jan. Gives us another option in CM.

Fair points. Injuries are catching up on us. Wanyama is the biggest loss. A midfield of wanyama Dembélé/ winks would give us a better base to control the midfield
