Reports they are looking to offer Hazard £350k a week to keep him and I just wonder if there's a little bit of panic there as they couldn't really afford to replace him with an equivalent player, they don't seem to be fishing in that pond anymore.

To be fair he's one of the few players who is probably worth the money. He's by far and away their most important player and they'd really struggle to replace him. For my money he's in the conversation for best player in the PL IMO.

Mesut Ozil on the other hand is supposedly on that much and is absolutely stealing a living. He must be laughing all the way to the bank.

True, but even at his best he's still nowhere near good enough to be on the ridiculous wages Arsenal gave him and nowhere near the level of Hazard IMO.

Sarri comments on Drinkwater and Moses are interesting.

Re: Drinkwater he doesn’t think he can play in a midfield two? Which is kinda odd as he actually played in a 4-4-2 throughout Leicester’s title winning season so not sure what thinking is there.

On Moses I can see where he’s coming from as he’s saying he’s a wing back (which he was very effective as under Conte’s 3-4-3 system) and not really a winger or a full back. Although when he broke through he was quite an effective winger.

Only unbeaten team in all competitions remaining in Europe's top 5 leagues. Obviously not playing in Champions league but still impressive.

There supposed "troubles" were majorly overblown. Their midfield depth is unreal.

Have to laugh given their technical director was making snide remarks two years ago about us having bought all our successful youth players rather than them coming through the academy.

One of those bans where clubs still seem to be able to buy players? Vaguely remember Barcelona buying Suarez whilst on a ban.

I'd be shocked if they got a 2 year ban, probably get a bigger fine and a 2 transfer window ban, wasn't that what Barcelona and athletico got?
