Anymore info spursfan77?
Floating in the news today that Sarri has "a month/February left to turn things around", which I can only takes in reality means that the decision to replace him is made and this is a subtle way of initiating the news to the public.
Fine is as much as £70. He makes that in seconds, he won't be fussed over it.
Talented player who needs nurturing but will he get that at Chelsea ? Nope !Pulisic was nothing special tonight. Young, talented but nowhere near a replacement for Hazard
I’d even take Hudson-Odoi over him. Funnily enough Chelsea have him already yet spent £60m on an arguably less talented kid ... ??
Chelsea's problem, this goes for basically every game I see them play, is that they don't have balance to their attack.
Sarri's Napoli team also had lots of fluidity and players roaming about the pitch, and a fuckload of passes in the build up, but then there was also a load of players who were prepared to consistently make a burst forward and attack the penalty area.
The Kante/Jorginho debate is the one that everyone focuses on, but for me the first problem is Kovacic. He is meant to be the most advanced midfielder and yet he spends most of his time just dropping off recycling play, he doesn't offer enough from that role in the 90 minutes. Hamsik in that role would make killer run after killer run up in support. Whoever plays out of Willian/Pedro on the right is another who needs to attack space more and probe in behind, comparing to someone like Callejon previously.
It's incredibly hard to break teams down (especially the better ones) when so much of the play, and players, are in front of the defence. With this happening, when the style of play is always liable to concede goals, there will only be problems.
Agreed. What I saw tonight was very similar to us under AVB, with "give it to Bale" replaced with "give it to Hazard".
