I seem to remember Wilson Palacios brother being kidnapped and murdered in Honduras a few years ago. This part of the world is dangerous and lawless and due to most living in poverty are targeting wealthy citizens with evil and aborant kidnapping.

this also happened to a baseball player from Venezuela. He was kidnapped and held for 3 days before being rescued.

Also Canelo Alvarez’ brother was kidnapped in Mexico as well. Canelo had to pay up to free the brother.

that’s another aspect of pressure some players feel if they are wealthy from the sport and their families are from rough backgrounds. Not easy to deal with.

That immediately came to mind for me too. He was never the same after that.

Worth bringing up that there are still Liverpool fans bringing up the offside call - this time by calling out Arteta for complaining last night but saying "they tried their best" after the Liverpool offside

Desperately, pathologically obsessed.

They kind of have a point. Arteta can’t have it both ways.

Managers talking out of both sides of their mouth over decisions isn't new, and expecting Arteta to go into bat for Liverpool is laughable.

The implication here is that they will now go after any manager who criticises VAR because that manager didn't sufficiently attack VAR after the game with us (despite their team not being involved). A Kill Bill-style list of people they have grievances with over one disallowed goal 30 minutes into a match.

Interesting, this title contending Liverpool team who is levels above us footballing wise is struggling against the nobodies that we beat with 10 men

Search ‘handball’ on Twitter if you want to have a laugh. They’re lighting their torches and sharpening their pitchforks again. This fanbase are a different breed.

To be fair to Klopp he focused less on the ref than he thought and gave credit to Luton.

A lot of that game was similar to us Vs Sheffield Utd. Liverpool dominated a lot of possession, but their finishing was not up to it today and Luton defended very well and madd it difficult for them.

What it has shown is even the lower teams are not guaranteed 3 points and dispels a lot of the whole Spurs have played no one rubbish.

I said beginning of the season Luton away will not be fancied by a lot of teams and they’ll get results, it’s a horrible ground to play at and some of the ‘bigger’ clubs won’t know what’s hit them.
Absolutely fantastic they took points off the bin dippers.

Even better because that will now have given them belief and motivation for the other big clubs.

Arsenal especially, as they will see it as a close derby.

Our win there will look better as the weeks go on.

Spurs H Fulham 2-0
Arsenal H Fulham 2-2

Spurs A Luton 1-0
Liverpool A Luton 1-1

Small pool but we are already doing better on the like for like games.

I like this because it shoves that "easy start" bollocks back down their throats.
Our start doesn't look so easy if we've picked up points where they've gone and lost them.
