They’ve a few regular scorers Jota, Gakpo, Darwin would likely all step up. But that’s without considering how Liverpool would spend the windfall should they sell Salah. The money being talked about in the summer was eye watering.

Jota I like as a player but he’s had a lot of injuries, gakpo looks good, Nunez is utter shit for the money they paid. They are being linked with Oshimen though annoyingly. That’s where it seems the Salah money will go.

That’s not what I mean. When Mourinho was top other fans werent hysterically shitting it like they are now and that was with Mourinho. I doubt most have watched us to be scared just because we are playing better football. But it is different, you can feel their anxiety that we might actually be doing something.

I think everyone else thought with Mourinho that it would go to hell in a handcart quickly enough anyway so it wasn't worth being worried.
And they were right.
Can you imagine the commotion if it was a Liverpool player getting a ten month ban rather than a barcodes player ? There would campaigns in the press, on TV, Tee Shirts, questions asked in parliament, etc. No way would they accept a ten month ban quietly. Victims FC wouldn't rest until the ban was lifted.

I seem to remember Wilson Palacios brother being kidnapped and murdered in Honduras a few years ago. This part of the world is dangerous and lawless and due to most living in poverty are targeting wealthy citizens with evil and aborant kidnapping.
