No it's not just that. The BBC do far more coverage of Liverpool than any other team and it's been that way for a while. This is their current front page of football. I've highlighted every story involving Liverpool in some way with a red box. Even if it's a general story about the premier league, they manage to squeeze a photo of Klopp in.
There’s definitely been a preponderance of Klopp in the sports news this summer. He only has to draw breath for Sky or BBC to spin a headline story out of it.

The worst thing about this is that he’s feeding the fans. To the arsehole fans that gave a million reasons why they lost in the final, this is confirmation to them that everyone and everything was against them, because Klopp said so.
He called Bale’s goal lucky. What a thunder****.
I always used to like watching Klopp being interviewed when he was at Dortmund but I didn’t know too much about him. Since he’s come here he’s getting worse and worse and almost becoming a parody of himself. His rants have been cringeworthy and I’m now of the opinion they’re suited to each other. There’s no doubting he’s a good manager but either he’s a bit more of a cock than I always thought he was or he’s caught the Liverpool cock-bug since he’s joined.
I’m almost certain it’s the latter.

Bales first was a thing of beauty. His second was something else entirely. You could say it was lucky or you could just laugh at Karius.
I was surprised when Klopp brought this up several weeks after the event, and essentially played directly into Scouse Mass Paranoia & Hysteria.
He had a minor pop at Mourinho, because the self-styled Special One had just had a major pop at Klopp and was clearly playing "mind games". Klopp could justifiably have responded to Mourinho more forcefully. Instead, he decided to call Sergio Ramos a thug who used wrestling moves to injure and unsettle Liverpool players in the CL final. And also accuse Real Madrid of being "lucky".
I think Klopp has gone native. Either accidentally or by design.
I would be amused if Ramos sues him for defamation, but don't expect it to happen.
