They’re gunna fucking win it. That’s what I’m telling myself. Don’t get me wrong, if you win the league you deserve it but you need that bit of luck along the way (stay relatively injury free, fixtures, have a cheating fuck in your team that wins you pens and doesn’t get pulled up by the refs) and they’ve certainly had more than their fair share.

Even if Leicester take points off them tonight I’ll still think they’ll be alright but I’m expecting them to beat Leicester anyway

If they win tonight they're looking at a 7 point lead with 14 games left to go. I'm sure bigger leads have been squandered before but I'm starting to feel LIverpool are going to hold on to it this time unless they have a ridiculous string of concurrent injuries. Realistically assuming City don't win every single game for the rest of the season, it means Liverpool will have to drop points in pretty much a third of their remaining games...more unlikely than likely I'd say.

To be honest it's a disgrace that City aren't doing better than they are given the money they've spent and their supposedly superstar manager.

Yeah but when it's your year, it's your year

...that and Klopp's infectious smile.

I'm not having a go at anyone, just saying its a long way from being over just yet.
.
Not looking good for the rest of us but Liverpool have been so incredibly lucky so far, few injuries and the rub of the ball with late equalisers and penalties.

Hoping - desperately !

I'm not discounting Lester tonight. They have enough about them to do a number...we all know Jamie Vardy loves to spoil a party

As I said earlier, I know leads like that have been squandered in the past. I just think at this stage it's more likely they win the title than don't.
You're absolutely right though. In the last ten years the team top on January Deadline Day has won the league every single season. Yes, City caught Liverpool in 2014 and City also caught United when they were 8 behind with 6 games to go in 2012, but they had been top in January both times, had a mini slump and then rallied.

Liverpool are absolutely massive favourites now, there's no doubt.

Yep. Unfortunately.

That said, if they let it "slip" (pun absolutely intended) once again then this will just make it all the sweeter :sneaky::devil:

Still a long way to go. All the big teams still have got to play them.
They've already played both Arsenal and City twice, didn't lose at Stamford Bridge and beat us at Wembley. City have everyone other than Liverpool to play twice but lost at Chelsea. We have everyone but United twice and lost to everyone but Chelsea and United first game - not like we have a chance.

I hate to admit it but it's looking very very good for them. In the past I'd have hoped for a scalp from one of the non-Big 6 by they haven't dropped a SINGLE point against the rest so far, why would that suddenly change?

If they do go on and win be prepared for the insurmountable levels of hyperbole.

If they fall to pieces, it might be the best thing to happen outside of us actually winning the league.

Don't let this slip lads, you fucking ****s!

Nice to see the scousers getting the thin end of the wedge with penalty decisions for once. Thought they were lucky not to lose too, Leicester should have scored a couple more.

Yeah, I did say that at xmas but after last night I am starting to think its meant to be for them. I'll continue to do so because it obviously had an effect.

So Klopp has blamed the rain, the wind and now the snow. Next he'll be demanding games are played indoors!

Van Dijk looked like a Mary Poppins character again tonight. Leicester brain farts in attack saved him a few times but he was at fault for the goal.
