Cannot believe we pay a license fee for bias dribble like this

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48969062

If Liverpool fans thought last season was special, 2019-20 could take things to a whole new level.

Their Champions League success and second-placed finish in the Premier League in 2018-19 means they will take part in seven different competitions over the next 10 months - the Community Shield, Uefa Super Cup, Club World Cup, Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Has anyone ever done that before? And how realistic is it that Liverpool could win all seven? BBC Sport takes a look.

They've been calling Roberto Firminho 'Bobby' in their pre-season match coverage... ?

Not sure how liverpool being in 7 competitions works out as bias?

If you don't like reading stuff like that, stop reading it.

Klopp complaining about his players not having a long enough rest. He’s right and it’s going to effect them.

I despise them so much, even more so after that final. I hope they properly fuck this season.

To be fair, Klopp said the same thing about us last season. He was saying he had no idea how Tottenham would manage given how many of our players had no pre-season.

Agreed, a lot of pundits have them as winning the PL, I don't see it. I felt they were extremely lucky in a number of games last year, that won't continue. Outside of their starting 11 they are weak at CD and in attack. Fatigue will have an affect towards the ends of the season and I wouldn't be surprised if they finished 3rd or 4th

It’s always interesting to see how a team reacts to missing out on the title by such a fine margin.

Sure it may galvanise them but then again it might cripple them.

Last season was all about their start imo. If they don’t fly out of the traps I think they’ll surprise a few experts by how far off the title they finish.

Remember, before the start of last season nobody had them down as genuine title challengers. Everyone was expecting a stroll for City

You assume too much about other people’s children. There are good kids with a solid moral compass, learnt and shaped at a very early age.

Who. Jesus?
Do you have kids? Are they these types?
Do they have no sins?

The difference between this Liverpool and the ones that finished second in 09 and 14 is that they haven't lost any key players (Alonso '09, Suarez '14). However, this time they have had four of their most important players, including all of the front three, unavailable for almost all of pre-season. It will be very interesting to see if they can come out full pelt this year, they have kind enough fixtures to do so.

I said this a long time ago but i dont think they will do as well this season as last season. Theyre a damn good team but just dont think they will do as well.

The thing is, I dont think Man Shitty will do as well...

Klopp complaining again. This time because he feels Liverpool shouldn't have to play the final game of last season (CL Final), and the first game of this season (at home against Norwich on Friday).

The two games are 69 days apart!

How will brave Liverpool battle through this one and come out alive? #Justice4TheVictims

I think teams will set up different against them from the start. I remember in the early stages of last season virtually everyone was playing in to their hands! Especially the lesser sides. Actually coming out and having a go as opposed to approaching it like they would against City for example

Literally every English team that's ever won a Champions League has done that surely?

Teams just let their fullbacks roam forward last season at Will. Surely managers can’t continue to be that stupid to only concern themselves with their front three.

Because idiots like us were playing a diamond that meant a lack of width up top. Three players with no natural opponent to track and nothing through the middle.

Both their supposed brilliant fullbacks are having a torrid time today. Man City are getting in behind and around them at will. Liverpool should be three or four down.
