They are making as fuss about their fans going to Roma now. Victim mentality will be out in force for the next week.

It was all very odd. It was the sort of tactics and defending you see more in Sunday league football. That’s not even an exaggeration. Their manager looked shellshocked every time the camera focussed on him yet he didn’t change it once. It was only when Klopp took off Salah they got back in the match. Weird. Let’s hope they keep up their home record.

Yeah, must be shite going into a CL semi 5-2 up whilst sitting 3rd in the PL
Ox out for 9 months apparantly shame for World Cup but massive blow for pool. With the front 3 Keita ox new DM they’d have had great 1st xi. But now Keita effectively replaces OX. They will still have to replace Can. They need back up for front 3 and probably x2 CB. Their recent net spend has been poor. To suggest they can get 5/6 quality players on their budget is fanciful imo. Will have very good 1st xi next season but nowhere near the squad to mount title challenge. Ox is a massive loss as he can play CM but also cover front 3, it’s like losing 2 players.
They've also had Lallana out for virtually the entire season. He could be fit again next season. They've also got some very good youngsters coming through. They probably need three players and they can easily afford three quality players when you factor in the TV money, champions league prize money, and league prize money.
I haven’t read the last couple pages but I think the consensus on violence around football should be: stop being fanatical and ignorant.
As for Pool as a club or a team, I don’t like them, but I must admit they are fun to watch. Can’t say I haven’t been bored watching a game of theirs and as a general lover of the game, I would want to watch them stylistically over many teams right now and that includes us.
Btw that doesn’t mean I don’t love the jersey our boys run out in, just on pure entertainment basis.
I always look at the bigger picture. Its never healthy short to medium term to rely on one player which they do
No, we've shown we don't rely on Kane anything like as much as Liverpool rely on Salah. We've had to play without Kane for long stretches, and we've functioned ok. Any time Salah's missing, which hasn't been long, 'cause he was rested not injured, 'Pool have looked a far weaker team.Salah's scored the same percent of their goals as Kane has scored of our's. So do we also rely too heavily on one player?
I would say they have a few top quality players other than Salah (Mane, Firmino, Van Dijk specifically) and a bunch of other players who fit well into their system which allows them to play a style in which Salah can prosper. Henderson, Can, Milner, Gomez, Robertson, Chamberlain, etc are not super glamorous players but they're pretty good players who put a lot of effort in for the team, which makes them really valuable. The lesson is that you don't need a galactico lineup to have a great team.

The demands and wear and tear of the PL catch up with any great forwards. We've seen it with Kane and Aguero for example. Salah's in the form of his life right now, but it's just his first season back in the PL. Let's see how he does next season.
Right now, I'd take my bets on a Spurs Liverpool game with a fully fit Kane and Salah, home or away, I'd favour us. If both ain't playing, I'd still favour us.
Can's got a back injury, not expected to feature again this season according to Physioroom.Real shame about the Ox being out of World Cup as we’re struggling for decent midfiel options as it is.
Just twigged Liverpool haven’t been playing Can lately, is this due to his lack of contract signing or injury? He was a first choice earlier in season but lately it’s been Ox - Henderson - Milner with Wijnaldum also in the mix.
