Even if this is a bit of a ploy to buy Karius some credibility back, I don't begrudge him it, what happened to him was awful for any player, and it would actually be smart/admirable by the club to do it. If it's true, and he did have concussion, he deserves even more sympathy.

This reeks of Lasagnegate. We got absolutley burned by all fans for this.

The bit about Salah and the injection is something I’d wondered since the game actually. Why didn’t he just go down the tunnel and get a couple of pain killing injections and play on. It’s likely to be the biggest game he’ll ever play in. I know I’d of done it and I bet thousands of footballers would of too. So why didn’t Salah?

Even Courtois has said it’s ‘strange’ re Karius. Just saw an interview on SSN where he talks a lot of sense about how Karius also pulled off a couple of great saves in the CL final too so you can’t just blame bad saves on concussion.
