I don't take them seriously (how could you?) but after ten minutes max I want to crawl out the car window at 60mph and die under the wheels of an oncoming garbage disposal lorry.

If they had a five-minute spot in a better show I might find them amusing but the same one-gag act day after day after fucking day after day .......

You're on your own there i think mate, they did the Edinburgh festival and due to going down a storm they toured the country with their 'one-gag act' last year....oh and they released a dvd.

The only time in my life I ever hear radio 2 is in the dentist's waiting room, where an unanaesthetised drill into the nerve of a central incisor is a welcome relief.

Mike Parry is a complete idiot. He professes to know all sorts of shit which he makes up on the spot, and is often completely wrong. History...he knows it. Science, he knows it. To be fair, I remember hearing Parry do the show the day of 9/11, literally as it was happening and he stayed with it throughout the day.

He was superb and gave the best coverage of any journalist I was aware of. His emotion was obviously genuine but he never lost control, asked all the questions, gave all the facts as they were available, spoke for everyone and was one of the best peices of journalism I've heard ever, in the most awful and difficult of circumstances.

He can do so much better than the Two Mikes, by a very, very long way is alls I'm saying.
