His PL goalscoring record was 1 in 3. He was a good PL player, nothing more. Putting him on the level of Kane or Shearer is absurd.

Look who he played for, it would explain his goal scoring record somewhat, we will never know how he would have turned out but he was far better than Charlie Austin and better than what you're perceiving him to be.

Still think his header against the Arse at home 3 seasons ago to win the game was one of the best headers I've seen in a good long while.

His header at Southampton over Christmas this season was one of the best I saw all season. When it comes to finishing H doesn't have a weakness in my opinion. Right foot, left foot, headers - he's got the lot in front of goal.

Add to that positioning, strength, ability to bring others into the game and he proves he is an outstanding all round striker.
