"I couldn't go yesterday (broken leg) so gave my ST to my mate. I wasn't bothered about not going at all - match day buzz has completely gone for me.
Worryingly though my 13 year old son (who my mate was taking) decided to give his ST up for yesterday as well as he "didn't fancy it". He is West Ham through and through loves getting involved with the singing, banter and meeting up with a few terrace mates he has made and is exactly the next generation we would want.

We are sitting watching on tv and he out of nowhere goes - i miss the Boleyn dad, shall we not bother next season I don't like it at the new place. Its one thing when us old boys become disillusioned but did make me wonder what will we look like in 10-15 years time?"

"And then, because we were in the midst of coming clean, I finally revealed to him his Mom is actually my sister."

Omg, omg! There's a thread "well that was that" it's the mother load!

Opening post..

"My last ever game at West Ham yesterday,

Season ticket is gone, my Dad has just about stopped sulking because he can't go either now (my only regret) and enough in the bank to take the better half away for a decent long weekend.

After yesterday i really aint fussed either, not because of the game just because of what we (You) have become as a club, 10 minutes into the second half there were still streams of people wandering back to their seats laden with hot dogs, pop corn and other goodies, just to sit down and moan at Mark Noble for 20 minutes before leaving with 10 minutes to go. Its like being at an NFL game. As for the team they are now a reflection of the club, two bob wannabes and i include all the players in that, they have no passion, they have no structure and they certainly have no soul.

Yesterday we all trudged like ****ing lemmings back to the train, not a single pub to drown our sorrows en route, just a few thousand souless face painted joker hat wearing adults, crying because spending 40 million really should make us a good team. We are "top 4" don't you know.

Lads and lasses i hope you enjoy what you have left, i give it 5 years before you have a new name..."

I've been thinking this for a while now. They could become another franchise in English football after Woolwich and Wimbledon (MK Dons). Everyone thinks they will be sold. I can see someone buying them, changing their name, badge and moving them to wherever they feel they can make the most money.

I wonder if the press brief suggest photographers on the sidelines bring a longer telephoto lens. Because flip that's far.

WH fans seem genuinely angry with the government for not planning to turn it into a football stadium for them before they designed it. They seem to think they should have been given a purpose built £500M stadium for £15M

They also think they should dig down the pitch so they can change the seating. Slightly forgetting it's not their stadium and also Levy insured the athletics track will remain for a very long time. Their fans think it is their stadium to do with what they want, yet Brady argued "why she would pay full rent for stadium we only use 20 days a year".

I love the fact that no one wants to sponsor it. The London stadium is a laughable name.
They also cant dig down without it costing a lot of money, they have issue with the water table and potentially with nuclear waste

The OS site had previously been home to over a hundred tonnes of nuclear wastes which is buried in a "bunker" near the stadium

That's horrific. Their Board should hang their heads in shame
They need a moveable pitch. Whilst everyone is distracted at half time by some entertainment, like fighting in the stands, they could slide the pitch over a so that you can't see for only one half? Is it as bad the other side also?

Find it amusing that the players are not allowed to set foot on the pitch in any way other than agreed match days. Not a single day of training or to get used to the surroundings.

the whole thing is rotten to the core and the club is going one way... and fast

the downward spiral has already started. A massive quantity of fans appear disillusioned and results are awful, this is worrying enough but the fact the we are not even remotely close to looking like getting a result is the most alarming thing, its not been a case of bad luck or poor refereeing decisions, we are just shocking, there may be two teams below us in the league at the moment but I honestly wouldn't consider them to be worse than us currently.

Thats one thing....

Also does anyone else think that because our 'board' have kept season ticket prices so 'affordable' that people will not be so fussed about turning up? I would assume the vast majority of those 20k or so previous season ticket holders have made a reasonable saving? Are a lot of those going to start thinking 'my ST was only X amount this season so **** it, i'm not that bothered'

I for one feel that way already, the excitement has gone, I just cant be bothered, sick to the back teeth already of being dictated to both in and outside the ground.... 'walk this way' 'dont go here' 'dont go there' 'dont wear that' 'no kids allowed in this pub' 'no kids allowed in that pub' 'stamp your hand so you can go for a piss' ' dont stand up' 'dont use this station' how ironic that in this such free country we now have, a bloke can't even go to a game of football on his day off without being told what to do!

Its coming people, its coming.... poor results, toxic atmosphere under this borderline dictatorship and attendances will dwindle rapidly. it terrifies me!"

I don't get all the fuss, it's the most successful stadium migration in the history of the universe! All of these mean people are just jealous of the world class bubble blowing machine they have...

Why the disagree? So it's fine if u are on a losing streak to have a night out on Monday, which lasted till Tuesday morning. Even thou Monday is their day off after the match, I am sure they didn't train on Tuesday too after that meal.

the peeps at KUMB was saying it was a "meeting" to trash things out. But seriously, having a meeting at an open restruant ain't the place to talk tactics. Would be like Sony having a meeting in Redmond Washington discussing their next play station console. Personally, I rather be working on their game and not spending money on lavish dinners.

If it's about the other article. Seriously, if I saw any players I recognise, I would be asking for a selfie, and not taking candid shots and throwing a tag line as if he was applying for a position with the daily mail.

Well... Unless you are a west ham fan that is. Then disagree all u like. :ROFLMAO:

"Credit to Southampton, at this stage of the game the players could be forgiven for trying to run the clock down and just hoofing the ball into Row A"

At 0-3, u don't really need to waste time thou...

But that thread.... I agree van Dijk had a good game he did make a couple of mistakes thou, personally I thot Redmond was the most dangerous man on the pitch. Not surprise with Bertrands votes too cause the left side was tearing west ham apart.

it's more about the Row A part. Instead of Row Z.. because A is so far away..

Let it go mate, it's a meaningless rating from someone you don't and will probably never know.
This is SC, if you claim the sea is wet there'll be someone wanting to disagree with you.

Edit: Fuck u @riggi
