West Ham fans discussing their 52000 ST waiting list

http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic...k=t&sd=a&sid=0fae0ae1cb07d1933294ea50ebd4d17a

I'm not going to quote posts but most current ST holders are not renewing, so next season we might see ST in the Newham Gazette for £5

:ROFLMAO:

That's a pretty interesting read. Most fans have come to the conclusion that they've massaged those figures include all members, much like we do with our list, but it appears that the list also includes anyone that was a member at the old ground, anyone who has already turned down a season ticket and, most surprisingly of all, current season ticket holders

There are also members on there pointing out that they've been to every home game this season without any issue so season tickets would only save them a bit of cash, rather than get them to more games. They also pointed out that the recent game against Man City went on general sale after being offered to members and anyone on the waiting list.

The most shocking thing i read though was that season ticket holders that sell their spare tickets via the clubs ticket trader only get paid for them if they renew their STs. What a con!

My God, they've got a lot of fair weather fans. I'd hate to think what our fans will be like if our brew stadium doesn't live up to our hopes.

Maybe but they are the only team in the Prem maybe England that doesn't play in a football ground, they play in a massive wide toilet with owners who tell them to sit down and shut up all the time.

Like to think we would be different but you'd get far better atmosphere down the pub than that place.

West Ham fan Danny Dyer gutted to learn his ancestor had Tottenham Hotspur link

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/west-ham-fan-danny-dyer-142036959.html

Die-hard West Ham fan Danny Dyer was horrified to learn that one of his ancestors had strong links to rival team Tottenham Hotspur.

Previously unseen footage from Danny’s Who Do You Think You Are? episode, in which he also discovered he was descended from royalty, shows the EastEnders star’s reaction as he uncovers an unwelcome truth in his family tree.

In a clip that was not included in the original broadcast, the actor went through a scroll of his family tree with one of the BBC programme’s historians, Peter Donoghue.

Seeing the name Sir Henry (Hotspur) Percy next to the dates 1364 to 1403, Danny said: “Nothing to do with Tottenham, please.”

Peter gently broke it to Danny that the football club took their name from his ancestor.

The historian said: “As you can probably guess, there is a link to Tottenham Hotspur, they took their name from Sir Henry (Hotspur) Percy because he seems to have owned land in that north London area the football club comes from.”

With a look of distaste, Danny said: “This is a double-edged sword for me, because I’m a West Ham fan.”

Shaking his head, he added: “That’s mad, that is.”

Danny discovered he was a descendant of Edward III and William the Conqueror during the episode tracing his family tree that aired in November.

Hang on...we're not going to have a load of spammers turn up with their caravans trying to reclaim the land are we???
