He's actually referencing an old Twitter exchange, he's not being serious. Originated with some guy that pretends to be an old, ex-forces Leicester fan that advocates dishing out wallopings and calls people 'Spastics'.

Huge transfer news at West Ham where they've brought in the experienced Arsenal and England International, err, physio.

Everyone on KUMB was very positive about this until someone recalled 2014 when Gary Lewin - for it is he - celebrated a Daniel Sturridge goal at the World Cup, slipped on some synthetic turf, dislocated his ankle, broke his leg and had to be stretchered off. As one of the posters put it..

"So West Ham"

Another picked up on the synthetic turf angle with the line...

"Of all the jobs in all the stadiums in all the world, you had to walk into"

But there was some reassurance for Gary when a third poster noted

"He probably realised he won't be doing much celebrating at our home games."

:joyful:

And what of their former physio who's moving on? Not much, except for this comment...

"I bet Carroll goes to his leaving do."

:ROFLMAO:

Must have been a really tough and uncompromising interview process that saw Jack Sullivan rise from the from the contenders to be appointed managing director of West Ham Ladies. Meritocracy at its finest, hard work paying off....

Also for a picture about West Ham Ladies... It ain't half a sausage fest.

Season ticket sales have just closed and West Ham are delighted to report a record number of 47,000 tickets have been renewed for next season. They have omitted the fact that they sold 52,000 season tickets last year thus 5000 have not renewed. It's a record number of renewals because it's the first time they have renewed in a stadium of this size. At the current rate of renewals the ground will be half empty in 5 years.

They have a thread on Kumb for fans to post why they didn't renew, enjoy:

All 4 in our group are not renewing.

Me, my dad and my brother won't be renewing. Further to that 2 mates I do away's with are also jacking it in. The rest of my crowd didn't even give the place a chance, and made last season their last as STHs. The majority have stopped going due to the stadium, and accompanying issues - (accompanying issues = shit football, shit stadium, shit view, shit facilities, etc)

Me, my dad & two cousins haven't renewed. Along with a couple of the blokes they go with. Had decent seats in Block 243 Row 32 but as mentioned in the other renewal thread, enough is enough. Will not stop supporting West Ham but would not rather ruin my weekends/mood by having to force myself to go.

After 51yrs. My Dad and my Granddad before me. "Investing" £1,000 in two large Chumps Place stones ("for the next 99yrs") and spending £280 on kits at the first game, I will not be renewing my 5 tickets. Neither will my buddy who sits next to us with his 10yr old (after 10yrs+ at Upton Park). We are 2nd row in - inline with penalty area (similar position to our Chicken Run seats). Our players work out directly in front of us. So great seats. And continues.......

Bye, bye West Ham. This really hurts. I'll always love you. But it's like coming home and catching your Missus in bed with the chappie from the local convenience store once - AGAIN ! Cant take it any more - Hurst too much now.

That f'ing shopping mall.
The hi-viz half-wits.
The ball boy selfies with ARSENAL players !
The walk.
The waiting.
The traffic
The wet seats!
The blue on blues!!
Sky Soccah.
The modern way.
THE LIES

Will only renew if they can guarantee the seats I want to move to, if they can't I'm not fussed about walking away after 25 years (looking for seats where he can see the players I guess)

Plastic knobs wandering in at 3:15 with a tub of popcorn? The club need to make a big signing before May 31st I think...or the damage will be done.

Haven't we bid £100k for some Lincoln lad ? There's your fanfare right there. "We had to act fast for this one. We had Crawley and Yeovil both offering fantastic packages but we got the deal done and we are delighted. Don't forget if you don't renew by 31st May you will lose your seat"

Not renewing, unbelievable to say it after all these years but I loathe that Stadium. Would rather just watch the games on my iPad than subject myself to commuting to and from that place.

It goes on for 12 pages with similar comments. What will they do without their cup final next year. Happy days....
