There is currently a track event going on in west hams stadium. Saw it on tv and died laughing. What a small time club:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Them sharing the athletics olympic stadium will never stop being funny:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
World championships mate, after all it is a purpose built athletics stadium...West Ham have to play their first 2/3 games away because of this, as it takes weeks to put their shitty lego seating back together and to put down their crappy green carpet around the track.
The day session today was only about half full, still more people than the average West Ham game !

I think you'll find it's the other way around. It's not West Ham's stadium. :)

So the World Athletics Championships have shown that if you get rid of the West Ham team, the West Ham fans and those awful seats on scaffolding, then it is possible for the OS to have a decent atmosphere after all.

Now we all know where West Ham are. They've been losing the Betway Cup and drawing 3-3 with the German equivalent of Forest Green. And we don't really want to know where the West Ham fans are, but where are those lovely seats that make West Ham's ground the award-winning architectural marvel it is? Have they been lovingly cherished and stored so that they can return to the OS in resplendent triumph? Err, no. They've just been dumped in an industrial yard somewhere in East London.

Rumours that several fans have petitioned the club to keep their seats there because "the transport links are superior, the atmosphere is better and we couldn't see the players anyway" have yet to be confirmed.

The athletics finishes on 13 August and the stadium and pitch must be ready by 11 September. The groundsman said he'd been worried when he saw one of those big, heavy hammers fall from the sky and dent the turf, but, ultimately, Andy Carroll had come off worse than the pitch and everything was ready in time for the Athletics.

The shot putters are destroying Joe harts penalty box.

That's going to make a great excuse when he concedes his seventh against Burnley.

Is that an upgrade on losing to a team of Romanian fooking farmers...or a downgrade? :giggle::giggle::giggle:
