Sunderland probably thought that as well!
They had much deeper problems than just the manager, as their current status clearly shows...i think with Moyes and West Hams squad, they're always gonna end up safe, playing shite football, but safe.

Wonder who they've got their eye on?

Moyes did surprisingly well for them. Not sure who they think they can get who is going to do better. Jokers.

Paulo Fonseca (Shaktar) was pictured leaving Sullivans house apparantly, so hes probably gonna have a bash.

Hope it ends very badly for him/them.

You sound like a West Ham fan...the owners expect all this 'next level' bollocks without any long term planning and without wanting to spend any money.

And when they did spend money they spent it horrendously.

They're always trying to take a shortcut to success, like their abomination of a ground.

This will fill their fans with optimism like when they done well under Bilic, they really thought they'd nearly cracked it, just for the wheels to fall off again this season.

West Ham finished 1 win away from 10th. Only Lester, Everton & Burnley would've been above them, ex. the Big 6.

I don't have huge regard for Moyes, but for the kind of job West Ham need - steadying first, then incremental movement forward - he's pretty much exactly what you'd want. As such, a bonkers decision to let him go.

He's not a man to take a club forward, more of a firefighter, don't think there would have been much progression if he stayed at the club. His remit was to avoid relegation, he did that so I can see why they're looking elsewhere, whether it works is another thing altogether though.

I always says I would never wish relegation on Arsenal.
They are our local rivals, I respect them as a club and I would rather they were just worse than us.

West Ham, as far as I'm concerned, can go bust and disappear.
May their excellent work continue.

Within 10 days they reckon.....I wonder who'll be the fall guy. Shame Pearce had to go too, always had a soft spot for him.

Caught one West Ham fan on Talksport earlier talking about how they are a top 8 club(lofty ambition there), When? I think we'll here plenty of talk about what they're going to do but when its comes down to it we all know what will happen.

They've had most of the boring rubbish journeymen managers but I don't think they'll go for a marquee signing type manager as they cost too much.

I don't think I'd like Arsenal to be relegated simply because we wouldn't get to experience the NLD every year. But yeah, this fake rivalry between us and West Ham, that they have created, can get to fuck. I hope they go down this year, I can't stand playing them every season cos of their mouthy fans

Moyes worked brilliantly at Everton on a tiny budget, got them in the top 4 etc...wtf are the irons doing? Hope the next manager is a weapon & they sink, get a made up rivalry with Charlton for a decade or 2. Bubble blowing wankers
