I predicted this in Jan with our shrewd signings of Nelsen and Saha (Joke players) and the posse of players out.

How we could do with Pienaar now btw.

I got major stick for this and unfortunately it's looking like I'm right :-(

For me, Levy has cost us this season with his Jan penny pinching.

We will never amount to anything more than this with this bloke in charge, so enjoy.

£'s over sporting ambition...........

Bitches to Arse and Chelsea................enjoy

Yes. Saha has been rubbish, and if only we still had Pienaar we would be challenging for the title.

Absolutely.

When he hands our new manager the bounty he has saved to assemble a squad of his choosing things might be different. There's a lot of things wrong with Spurs at the moment. Levy ain't one of them.

Well I don't know if the money is there and Redknapp hasn't used it for whatever reason or if it isn't there.

Pardew has achieved far more with much less, so the blame should lie at the feet of one Harry "inept" Redknapp, not Levy.

If we had sold Modric in the summer, where do you think the £40m would have be spent... I for one would anticipate that this would have matched Liverpool's incompetance in the transfer department.

We needed to invest in Jan

Cisse at Newcastle for example, instead we had load of players out Again (on top of the shit summer)

Technically no-one has "cost us" this season, because it's still April. As Nostradamus-like as all football fans claim to be, let's just wait until the final whistle on the 38th Premier League game in May before people point the fingers they have to point (for whatever reason they try to justify to themselves).

make no mistake, this is down to Harry with his tactical ineptitude and fondness for experienced prem players. He told Levy who he wanted in the window. Nothing to do with Levy, the same man that brought in vdv.

Dont agree either. I dont think anyone can say Levy isnt ambitious, the financial backing has been there and in terms of recent era's we are in our best position for years, plus we have a new training ground on the way and hopefully a new stadium in the not too distant future.

It was Harry's choice who to let go, and do you really think teams were going to sell us players valued at £20= million in the middle of the season? (I presume thats what you are getting at with the penny-pinching bit, that you wanted big money signings) Besides the squad still has enough quality, its on the pitch where things are going wrong and its not IMO down to decisions taken at Boardroom level.

Stoof, I admire your optimism. But sometimes I fear your faith is blind. But saying that, Levy is one of the best chairmen in the PL. So very much disagree with the OP

I have often been an advocate of Pienaar, would have filled in well for Lennon/Modric/VDV/Bale when needed.

I think you're a joker, Graysonti.

Why? It's not ALL Arrys fault

We have spent nothing on players these last few windows.

This implode was waiting to happen unfortunately.

We're on our way down and looking up at Arse AGAIN

May be ok for you but not me. Levy sin paid over a million to sit doing nothing while Rome buns

If that's true then Levy deserves the stick directed at him for failing to sign Scott Parker as soon as Harry told him he wanted him.

Levy is a good chairman, but he gets a free ride from a lot of people, and he, like Redknapp has dropped some massive clangers in the last year.

There are people like you who just have a bee in their bonnet over ENIC/Levy and I don't think there's any use arguing over it, to be honest.

I know we're a bit short in a couple of areas but that doesn't mean that I think we're making the best of what we have.
