My Mrs has buggered me up again for this one.

Having missed the Chelsea 1st leg semi and having hadto watch the BD 2nd leg on my iPad in the local hospital the old lady decided to have a suspected heart attack and has been in hospital since midday Thursday. Having loads of tests and other stuff before angiogram on Monday.

So it's COYLW's do your best, I'll try to follow somehow. Hospital wifi etc.

All the best fingers crossed for you

Shitting a brick about today's game.

Three rules to obey!

1. Don't be over-impressed by our past glories!
2. Don't be scared by our future stories!
3. Be hopeful to get out of today's miseries!

It alarms the fans, sometimes including me, but it scarcely ever causes a problem. There have been virtually no examples when it has cost us goals. I can't think of one this season. I expect there have been 1-2 in the entire season, maximum.

And it's blatantly obvious that it isn't "the defenders and Lloris" doing it. It's done on instructions from Pochettino, as a part of our playing style. Do you think they just do it for fun, against the manager's will? Of course not. He's had them practicing it for hours on the training ground.
It’s amazing this still needs pointing out.

We have got to be those ****s. I would love nothing more than to destroy them.

Kane to twist dick boy, Verts to give Salad boy a kick up his backside, Son to ruin that fucker Milner

4-3 spurs... high scoring game but Kane hattrick.

A good performance the minimum today. I’d love to win, but if we can put in a performance and hold our heads up high, that puts us in good nick going forward into Wednesday’s game.

lol jk let’s fucking batter them

Just hoping beyond hope that the break and training in new stadium gives them new motivation. Forget the last period of games. Not optimistic today, so anything is a bonus for me.

Liverpool supporting mate giving it mouth yesterday saying how they'll smash us. Sent me a screen shot of a 6 way acca and he has the game down as a draw.

Not as confident as they come across.

If at the start of the season I'd be told we'd be going to Anfie;d with no Dembele, Dier or Winks, and that Sissoko was our only fit CM I'd have given them the three points already ... but somehow I trust Poch to find a system that will work today. Maybe a 4-3-3 with Eriksen and Dele playing deeper, Son and Lucas either side of Kane, and give it a good go. We can do this. COYS!!!

If we do lose today and Chelsea and Arsenal win, a not impossible scenario, then lets keep our heads, particularly the players, as top 4 will still be very much in our grasp. We will have gotten into a bad position but we can get out of it. Don't panic!

Agree- it’s one thing being realistic and not expecting a great deal from this game, it’s another to then throw the doomsday switch if it doesn’t go our way

I think the fact that we will move into and play our first game in the new stadium soon after this match, it will more so allow the players to his the reset switch, take this game out of our minds (if we lose) and start again from Wednesday.

Maybe I'm too negative in my mindset, but a defeat here really shouldn't dent the players too much, it's a damn tough fixture that not many would go into expecting 3 points.

I don't see how anyone can have any confidence given that sketchy performances eventually turned into some bad results and our form has plummeted. We can only hope that the international break came at the right time and we can now regroup and get going again, but that remains to be seen at this point...

How they respond to the long layoff is one key to this game. Would expect a slow start but a strong finish
