Slightly odd putting Hugo in goal today having seemingly got the situation diplomatically sorted.
Brad hasn't done much wrong.
Will Lloris stay having kept a clean sheet or will Brad be back in goal against Chelsea?

i can see friedel being rotated in for them easier games, as he's still in great form and better atm than both gomez and cudicini. maybe for fa cups and the like

Dunno, don't think he's shown anything much yet to earn the jersey. The only reasoning I can think for him starting is the high line and Villa's pace.

We're going to become the first club where squad rotation counts for the goalkeepers as well. Did you hear AVB's comments after the game? Great peace of man management in his words for Brad. As for Lloris. Well, he will be number 1 in the not too distant future anyway.

He looked quite good except for that bad throw. He covered for our defense wonderfully in the first half and showed great anticipation. Also commanded the box better on crosses than Friedel does. Not to slag Friedel, who is a great keeper in his own right, but Lloris can do some things Brad can't. Nice to have a keeper who can come off his line.

AVB comments alluded to playing Hugo in the last two games to ensure he played for France in the upcoming games.

Dunno, Brad didn't do too well with Utd's first goal last weekend, right next to him.

Still, Lloris is the better goalkeeper, Brad is cracking though.

Is AVB preparing Loris for the Cheski game after the international break?

I really hope AB doesn't start jugling goalkeepers like Ferguson does with De Gea and Lindegaard. He said he's considering recalling Friedel for Chelsea which might mean he will.

Has to be number one now. Showed in 5 minutes when he raced off his line to thwart two attacks exactly hwat he offers that Friedel doesnt. Sweeper Keeper.

Distribution as well. How many times today did Lloris play from the back when Brad would have resorted to route one? Ironically this did lead to a guilt edge chance for Villa when Lloris threw a sloppy throw right to a Villa player but playing from the back whenever possible is something we should be trying to do especially when you have the likes of Verts and Benny (when fit) who are comfortable on the ball as anyone around.

De Gea/Lindegaard?

In response to the OP - I hope Hugo remains first choice. We've only kept 2 clean sheets this term so far, and both were down to Lloris. Brad's good, but he isn't world class, Hugo is.

His english is coming along nicely, distinctly heard him shout "feet" to Caulker for a back pass.
