Lloris is an incredible keeper I just hope clubs like Madrid/Barca see and judge him on things like this and overlook his incredible saves.

I personally wouldn't call him world class, I would say his the bracket just under that, great keeper but is prone to the odd mistake (Man city and Leicester this season). I think at his high standards, this season wasn't his best either. In a lot of ways, if he was a world class keeper, then he probably wouldn't be playing for us anyway.

If people call Neuer and De Gea world class then Lloris is world class, these guys are just as culpable if not more than Lloris if you ever watch them play. It's very hard to rate keepers the same as players because it seems like they're only as bad as their last error and good as their last worldy save, it's the consistency which sets them apart and Lloris has been as consistent as they come for many seasons.

Totally agree ( not a popular opinion on here though) very good keeperbut he makes a few too many mistakes to be in the top tier of world keepers imo

De Gea makes mistakes, Neuer makes mistakes, Casillas made his fair share, along with Victor Valdes at their peaks...

I don't think some people realise how lucky we are at times...
We could have Gomes still

Although it's Lloris' mistake, it's still some finish from the half way line. Just hoof it out of play next time Hugo!

Have said it before, will say it again.

Wordl class keeper and for me, the best in the world for some time now.

Not getting the recognition because of media bias. Whenever he made crucial saves, media goes "striker should have done better". Whenever Degea made a simple save, "great goal keeping, what a save!!"

I still remember that game when we had 10-15 shots on goal against Man Utd, and all those tamely shot at DeGea. Media had multiple orgasm the following day.

Few reasons to it for me. He was one of the first" sweeper keepers" in the PL which led to a couple of high profile mistakes which labeled him as a keeper with a mistake in his locker (when in reality he makes no more than any others).

Also he is a victim of Spurs failings as people assume the teams with the best keepers win things.

Lastly there is a bit of "sizism" in media reporting on keepers where the big keepers are seen as solid and imposing but smaller keepers are seen as flamboyant.

He certainly is world class and we have been lucky to have him for all these years.

I wish I was a small 6ft 2 - Life is so unfair - 5'7 and shrinking in old age, not just height.

Do we know why we haven’t offered Lloris an extension on the contract ? Thanks.
I haven't seen any concrete information from our ITKs about it but Hugo will be 35 next summer and he might well fancy a return to France for his final few years. However (this is pure speculation on my part), that could change now PSG have Donnarumma.

If he's planning on going back to France I think it's more likely to be Nice he's looking at than PSG.
