I love Brad Friedel and he is still a fantastic keeper. However, I don't know what I was thinking by advocating that he continued to be our GK. Loris is an amazing GK and one of the best in the world.

Never seen a goalkeeper as quick off his line as Lloris. Is making key saves in every game. Peter Schmeichel tweeted during the game to say how impressed he was with Lloris. He knows his shit!

Hate it when people say Loris... It's Lloris

Loris makes him sound like somebody from Dora the explorer.

And there was me thinking he was a Taffy! So I've been spitting at people needlessly all season?
I may be misinformed, but I'm pretty sure it's not Yoris a la the Spanish anyway. Not sure if that's what you were getting at with your Lloris vs Loris?

My sister once thought that YSL meant Yes Saint Lawrence !

Some kind of Irish Catholic 1980's angst trip perhaps ?

I knew he was good when we got him, but he's signing of the season for me. World class no doubt - finally sorted in this position.

The guy is unbelievable. Was unbelievable at Lyon, is unbelievable for France, is unbelievable for us. Genuinely think one of the top 5 keepers in the world.

I dont know if that's actually how you're supposed to say it, but here in France everyone says "Lioris".

World class. Just hope Barca don't come in for him in the summer. We'll probably lose him if they do.

This guy oozes class. Apart from that very minor fault yesterday, which didn't even amount to anything, he was absolutely fantastic again.

I mean you only have to look at the Giroud incident and he gave him about 2 seconds to make a decision and by then he's swamped him and cleared the ball. He wins EVERY aerial punch that he goes for and his distribution is fantastic.

Not to be biased, but he is 100% the best keeper in the league right now

Hardly surprising. The only thing odd about the signing last summer was that every Yid didn't wank themselves silly immeditately.

AVB managed the situation very well though. He put all the pressure on himself so even had Hugo or Brad been affected momentarily by all the hot air blowing around, the focus was on the bungling/incompetence/evilness of Andre.

Not sure about that tbh. I know it's Barca and everything but he took years to make a decision about leaving Lyon. UTD chased him for years then finally gave up. If Levy don't want to sell, I doubt he's one for forcing a move.

I am convinced he has overtaken Cech as the best in the league now. Concentration levels are immense and he always takes the initiative. The low cross he came for when he literally took the ball off the strikers toe and then got upset with himself for letting the ball squirm and then the time he was off his line in a flash......Some of the best goal keeping we have ever seen at spurs but nobody goes off about it because they werent fingertip, last ditch saves. They still saved 2 definite goals though.

Signing of the season.

As an outfield player he is also everything you want from a keeper. He is vocal, comes confidently and hard for the high balls, going through oppo and his own defenders, and also not afraid to get in where it may hurt. All round the guy is up there with the best i've seen

He will make the odd error or bad decision, what keeper doesn't!? Especially with the way he plays almost as sweeper will mean he may get caught out coming for a ball, but he seems like a strong character who won't let it effect him greatly if that happens
