If Pochettino had Bale, Modric, VDV and King to select from I think he would have exceeded what Harry achieved and would definitely got third the season Harry lost interest in his job.

Really, that's just opinion, just like people on here was saying AVB would of done the same, if anyone is bitter it's the ones having a pop at H every chance they get, but can't see the wood from the trees.

It all gets a bit contradictory, on one hand you praise Levy for not paying and haggling untill we miss out on the players the manager really wants, then on the other hand say it's the managers fault we ended up with players the Levy thought was a better option.

Here we go again with the MS saga, this should of been done at the start of the window, to give Poch every chance to succeed by getting the players he wants early.

As for players who we can't shift, I'm guessing that's AVB's fault!!.half of them he didn't even want ffs.

Doesn't matter who the manager wants, it could be the fucking tea lady, but if the manager thinks it will make a difference then sign her!! It's then the managers fault if it goes tits up.

Redknapp said on SSNHQ again that Remy could move if a Top 7 club wanted him...

Not saying aren't a bad option but if it happens you have to wonder about the transfer strategy because we have stood by and let Liverpool as good as buy him and left any bid until the last minute of the window. You just don't feel the club really want him, so if it happens it strikes me as buying for the sake of it.

Which is strange.....he's proven in the league which counts for a lot. A fairly low risk, high return signing I would've thought especially since he can play a couple of positions. Experience, pace and good finishing ability. What's not to like?

If Everton get Remy as well as Lukaku and we don't add to our squad they will finish above us again imo.

So they're offering Gibson and cash for Remy?

Isn't Gibson always injured though, in fact his injury record is horrendous.

We seriously need a bigger goal threat. As it stands they have a far bigger goal threat than we do.

Fuck sake. Just offer them Dawson and cash. They won't turn that down.

Everton look like they're showing some ambition in the transfer market.

Yep. As you've probably noticed, I've wanted us to sign a striker all summer and Remy has always been someone within our price range. If the player is keen and the medical situation isn't prohibitive, just pay the release clause and be done with it.

Yeah, I've noticed! But I agree with you. I like the fact that we could use Remy up top or from the left. Has some pace to, can create space for others as well and of course he can finish pretty well.

I can't believe it if Everton end up getting him as well now. I'm seriously worried about were the goals are coming to come from this season. If Soldado doesn't start firing we can't rely on Ade and Eriksen for the whole season.

That's a point- QPR might turn Everton's offer down because it doesn't meet the release clause...

Yet people were ok with us selling Siggy, a goal threat. Paulinho too, our 3rd top scorer. Chadli, a goal threat. Townsend, a potential goal threat. Isn't Lamela supposed to be a goal threat? If Kane is staying isn't he supposed to be a goal threat? I'd replace Lennon with Remy but really don't get this apparent lack of goals. If Sherwood can get this squad scoring then Poch surely can. It's the CB that worries me.

Siggy needs the team built round him, he's not going to get ahead of Eriksen. Was the right move for all parties that he went to Swansea and its no surprise to see him hit the ground running being played in his best position, not shunted out on the left.

None of the rest have proved yet they're serious goal threats. We're hoping some of them will be, Lamela etc, but as it stands they're not and its risky to bank on what we have IMO.

I agree a CB is probably the top priority but we could do with another goal threat and Remy is a relatively cheap option who's a proven goal scorer in this League.

Say what like about Paulinho but he's an absolute definite goal threat, 8 goals in tactical farce of season. If Poch doesn't think he can get Soldado scoring then he should be sold. Same with Kane but a loan. I would like Remy in for Lennon but can't agree that a squad containing Adebayor, Eriksen, Paulinho, Lamela, Soldado, Chadli, Kane, Townsend and Holtby doesn't have goals in it. Opinions but that was last of my worries this window.
