LDJ for anything under 12m is worth it IMO. If Newcastle are bidding then Ba must definately be off.... I hope it's not a case of Ba to us and LDJ to them - we'll lose big time on that scenario

Call me arrogant but I feel that if we really wanted him then we would get him over whatever Newcastle can offer.

Amazingly, we can potentially offer LDJ more opportunities of first team football than Newcastle so one would imagine we are setting our sights on even higher profile signings even though i'd like us to firm up our interest in de Jong.

Douglas will be a very good signing for them.

They will be strong again next season. Douglas is a beast and will adapt well to the prem, imo. Building a good squad there now. Their depth was very iffy last season.
