Can't remember what paper they took to from but sky sports reported that Manchester City are going to have a clear out of players this summer.

Wondered who we should take? (At the right price)

I'd go for Edin Džeko.

none that they don't want to keep

couldn't afford their wages anyway and look how the last player we signed from them on big wages turned out

saying that maybe a few of the younger hungry ones might be worth a punt, thinking Guidetti or Rodwell

Sinclair would be a decent 3rd striker/wing option for 1 or 2 mill.

I don't see the hype with Rodwell, always looks like jenas mkII to me.

It could be that Man City have a prob shifting some players . The number of clubs able to pay similar inflated wages is not very big .
The players will dig their heels in and say...no fanks I'm staying on the 170 Gs/week...

QPR will have the most problems shifting players this summer

Dzeko is going to Dortmund swap deal with Reus and a few pennies

Dzeko would score hatfuls for us. The others are all a bit meh, of the ones they would let go.

Guidetti would certainly be an interesting purchase but Rodwell is so unbelievably overrated it's untrue!

Dzeko i'm sure will be Bavaria bound this summer and wouldn't surprise me if he replaces Lewa at Dortmund.

Dortmund isn't in Bavaria, Munich is

But I agree he'll be back in Germany somewhere

I'd be very surprised if Dortmund sold Reus after losing Gotze and maybe losing Lewandowski. They don't need to sell Reus to get Dzeko.

The story is doing the rounds, I see it's on goal.com today. 32m for Reus. Still, most football gossip is utter rubbish.

Dzeko, Kolarov, Guidetti, Razak.

Tevez, Nasri, Dzeko, Lescott - I'd take any of those if money was no object. Sadly money is an object, so I doubt we'd get any of them.

It all depends on their wages really. I'd love Dzeko, because when he plays well he is one of the best, but he goes missing for long periods of time and he just isn't worth it at massive wages.

Micah Richards as back up for Walker - would he accept that role though?

Lescott is a great CB, but do we really need him with Daws, Kaboul, Verts and Caulker?

Jack Rodwell. John Guidetti. Young and promising players. Would love a new Swede in Spurs as well.

Panti-"my name sounds like a Pokemon"-limon, that back-up keeper of theirs impressed me in the FA Cup.

This will be intresting to see there "clear out", most will be on loan with City paying a percentage of the wages IMO. This is going to become a big problem in the game, Man City and Chealsa buying up alot of talent on wages very few clubs can match, then if it doesnt work out a player has 3 years on a bumper contract unwilling to move unless his wages are matched.
