Really?? I'd have him in there over Walker any day.
Reality is that the talk of City clear-out is only in the papers so may not even be true. If it were then the list would be players that are not featuring at the moment. Papers say 12, i can't see more than 10. Milner, Barry and Kolarov could be thought of but i think htey are the kind of squad players city will want to keep behind their stars and the big purchases they make this summer.
Richards - possibly depending on price and wages, i think he's a better defender than Walker but not a priority for squad or funds
Kolo Toure - already declared he is going, not interested at all
Lescott - we don't need (can see him back at everton to be honest)
Sinclair - not that interested, throw him at us and he can be a bit of pace on the bench which we have lacked this year
Dzeko - will go to better placess than WHL (Dortmund is a likely scenario)
Richard Wright - urm no
Maicon - urm no
Rodwell - don't see the fuss yet so no, they may give him another year
Nasri - can see him leave as he doesn't seem to get on with either the club or the manager but he has PSG written all over him
Guidetti - interesting one, highly rated but still young so they may want to hold on to him, probably would look at him though

Not convinced Dzeko would work for us. Good finisher, but other than that he's a bit of a lump and won't create chances for himself. Sinclair could be worth a shout depending on how much he goes for and what his salary is. I wouldn't put him ahead of Townsend though, and if we're serious on Tom Ince then there's no need for Sinclair.
Other than that, pass.

I like Dzeko, but there are (or perhaps were) a lot of people saying not to go for Benteke because he is wasteful. Dzeko should score an awful lot more than he does, statistically more wasteful than Benteke (I know, I know stats) and he plays for one of the best teams in the league.
Plus I'm not the least bit annoyed that I picked him for my second half of the season fantasy team and he's got me a tremendous four points...

I think he tried to get out of the spotlight after that rubbish with Terry, by all accounts having a good season at Brighton this term.
I like Dzeko, but there are (or perhaps were) a lot of people saying not to go for Benteke because he is wasteful. Dzeko should score an awful lot more than he does, statistically more wasteful than Benteke (I know, I know stats) and he plays for one of the best teams in the league.

I'm not convinced about Dzeko either, I think he's too slow to be a top striker and if we don't address our lack of creativity he won't be having many goal scoring chances with us.

I think we match City in most areas and the players I have listed are the only ones who would improve us. Obviously Hart would be an improvement on Freidel but that is not going to happen, but I don't think players like Kolarov, Nasri and Dzeko would improve us.

tevez would be the absolute perfect foil for bale. shame it'll never happen, well it might, but not with us 
Tevez, Barry, Maicon and Lescott about to go into last year of contract so valuations won't be too high. Also going into last year of contract the likes of Nani, Vidic, Carrick, Cashly, Berba, Terry, Old Kenwyne and our very own Kaboul....
On a serious note would Son of Hamburg be of interest, read some good reports on the lad and at 20 he's got potential - also going into last year of contract soon

Honestly dont think either are that great but the way walker has played most of the season i'd be happy with a change. Our full backs have not adapted to the new style at all this year

Guidetti signed a new 3 year deal with Man City in October 2012, so not sure he would be released this summer.
Impresssive form for Feyenoord but not sure I would want to pay that much for him as imo he still has almost everything to prove that he could make it in PL.
