He also walked off before shaking Poch's hand, bitter ****.

I almost want us to do a number on him on Saturday and Liverpool to win the league just to wipe the smugness off his face.

I think he was looking at poch to shake his hand but he was celebrating with his assistants

I'm soooo pissed off. I live in the west of Ireland, no wired broadband so it's mobile wifi. It seemed like the whole world was using the same mobile mast as me 'cause I couldn't get any signal. The best I could get was Radio 5 live over t'internet. I'm going to have to watch the whole game again to see if it really was the best game of all time!

Whatever! A GREAT result. Brilliant for the Club. Roll on Ajax!

Despite my strong jawline, dreamy eyes and devil-may-care attitude that most women (and some men @rez9000) can’t resist, I’m a natural pessimist; it’s paradoxical to be so given how gifted I am. I’m not expecting us to win, or go through.

But I’ll maintain my pledge that Monty, the family hound who loves chewing my trainers, gets another free pass on them if I’m wrong and we get through to the semifinals. In fact, he can have them forever, or until he eats, digests and shits them out on the kitchen floor. Either way, if the boys find a way, Monty gets to play.

He’s sleeping right now and has no idea what’s at stake. I somehow feel like a god, a god of small, furry things

dunno, his hip scored the goal after it touched his arm. if the rule is the ball cant touch your arm at any point I dont know how it was a goal
I’ve watched that tons of times and I still cant tell. It deflected onto his hip, yes. But that was definitiely unintentional. Plus, it looks like the City player may have gotten his arm on it as well...

I've lost my job, I'm burning through savings, and my sister is in need of a kidney transplant...but today, today was a great day. The first I've had in a while. I fucking love this team. COYS!

No way you could call that an intentional handball. And in any event, his hand was inside his silhouette and any contact there was didn't affect the path of the ball.

I'm more annoyed that they fail to mention that it doesn't matter if it his his arm or not. His arm was into his body and should never be considered for handball anyway. If it doesn't hit his arm it hits his body and therefore the arm did not have an impact on the direction of the ball. If they start calling those handball then it really is ridiculous.
They seem to be rewriting the laws that any contact means it was handball... What shit, if he'd swung his arm or even moved it towards the ball then they might have a point but it was never a handball even if it did brush his arm

Tbf VAR is the story.
It should also be seen as a triumphant one and a great example of how VAR is a great idea. Whether people agree with the Llorente goal or not the fact is the ref has had a proper look at it and made his decision. Therefore we no longer have a situation where the ref misses a big call. He has made his decision and it can't be considered the wrong one because it's entirely down to the interpretation of the ref. Some refs will give them and some will not but there's no right or wrong, just different refs views. VAR just gives them the time to analyze and make a clear judgement call.

In the first game the argument was that Rose was deemed to Handball as he changed the silohuette of his body or made it bigger. Nando has now kept his arms down when going up to head the ball. The arms have to go somwhhere. IMO both decisions were correct. City lost over two legs because Hugo saved that Penalty. Pre-VAR Roses pen prob wdnt have been given.

It's about revenue and what headline will generate the most clicks/purchases. VAR is the story and the main talking point and it's what people want to read into.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a Champions League semi-final at only 27 days old and the Emirates Stadium is yet to experience one after 13 years.
