Our best performance of the season in my opinion. City has never sored much less won at our new stadium. Long may it continue. I will give MOTM to Kane for breaking Greave's record playing against the current champions but a lot of credit to Emerson

The 2nd match in the last three my MoM goes to Emerson Royal :wideyed:. I feel like a brain in a jar having a fever dream.

Hojbjerg a close second.

Hard choice but PEH controlled the midfield brilliantly. Emerson really deserves all the praise he will get, he was brilliant

2 players I wouldn't have minded being benched slogged it out. Emerson just shades it from Hojbjerg for me. Grealish was their main threat and he had him under wraps 90% of the time. Excellent performance.

Excellent game, whole team played well, defence solid, midfield combative, forward line dangerous- Emerson great game , so much stick but a giant today. Harry superstar

Royal for me; rizla paper between him & Peh. Shout to Harry and our centre backs. Bents grew into the game Sonny & Kulu not fully there today. Overall a tidy performance which nullified a brilliant opposition. Conte to watch from the sidelines?? ?

Royal MOTM

Haven’t seen such a poor City side in the middle of the park, in recent memory

Special mention for Harry - fantastic

Lewis/Levy don’t deserve him and have wasted our greatest ever goalscorer. Shame on them

Lloris - 7 - vital moments the catch from the cross then putting Rodri off excellent

Emerson 9 - immense rattled grealish and was everywhere down that right side!

Romero 8 - excellent until the red although it was so soft grealish bought it and the ref couldn’t wait to send him off.

Diet 7 - very good, really liked his agression

Davies 7 - excellent helped perisic shut down mahrez and Silva

Perisic 6 - done his job

Højbjerg 10 - immense everywhere proper warrior

Bentacur 9 - so good he’s different class what a special player

Kulu - huge shift he was excellent too strong for most of the city players

Kane 7 - very good great goal

Son 8 - Sonny is back

Royal for me all day long and I’m delighted for him ?

Special mention to Harry, what a player, I genuinely feel privileged to have him at our club.

Due to conscious bias (other clubs fans ) many will fail to recognise just what a fantastic player he is, that is until he retires……..but the stats will speak for themselves ?

That was definitely the most enjoyable game I've watched in the longest time. We didn't sit back and wait to counter attack. We pressed and didn't allow City to grab a hold of that game.

Royal and PEH were outstanding but that was a team effort.

Davies / Dier as good as they were latter-half of last season. Big, big performances.

Royal my MOTM. We know where he thrives as a player, and these are the games he's done well in (City H/A this season, Liverpool A last season). Expect Porro to play when we want to be on the ball more.

Had to give it to Royal, he was quality throughout. Hojbjerg was immense. Not a poor performance in the team.

Thought Sonny terrified them and had an extra yard of pace, not sure what he has done to not even be eligible to vote for? ?
