There was a hint of a smile from Daniel at the end. No doubt thinking of another 10m for getting through. Another full house at WHL and running out of beer again.
At last we have gone into a big game and done it. Will make such a difference to us. Dier Winks and Sissoko should all be back for semi.
Well done to Victor . He looked out on his feet at times. Nowhere near what he was but he made it,

He's smiling because he knows we don't need anymore signings this summer ? ? ?

Been an unreal morning at work so far - people that I didn't even know where into football coming up and hugging me. Clients sending me congatulatory emails out of the blue. I can't remember anything like this - even after Crouch's goal.

Has any club made the SF winning so few games before? We've got there battling from the brink of elimination (tough luck Inter after playing to draw at Wembley) and then walloped Dortmand but have a record of W5 D2 L3 in our 10 games so far.

I know it doesnt matter cos you can win one lose one in the knock out stages and win the tie but it is interesting.

Still trying to calm down from last night. Normally we get done over by decisions (standard cry of a fan lol)

The negative perception of the term "Spursy" winds me up just as much as the bollocks use of "legends" any time we lose a game. I think we should take control of the Spursy term, in much the same way spurs fans took control of "yids"... Last night's game was an epically fantastic Spursy performance.
I recommended in the past that we should own "Spursy" and turn it around positively, but was shot down by members on this forum
No doubt there were a couple of people in here ready to write our eulogy and get the bottler tag out at various points last night.
Guilty as charged, check my opening post in the rating forum!

Just so people are aware Liverpool have six days rest before they play Barca
We have two days rest before we play Ajax
Madness and not fair and the premier league should re arrange the Bournmouth game but they won't TV money is king
I think they will re-arrange our game. Can't remember the match off the top my head but think they rearranged one of our PL matches earlier as we played Dortmund and the PL match had been picked before that was known.

Someone on here said it would be switched to the early Sat kickoff.

So happy, I can hardly believe we finally had a decision go for is in the last seconds of a game. Must admit I had the tv turned off at that stage, too stressful, and was just following the thread on here. Heart broke when they scored, you think to yourself, my God why are we so hated?! But then out of nowhere it changed, and the feeling was pure euphoria!

SON IS NOT SUSPENDED for the next match....

a player who who gets one yellow card in one leg of a semifinal is not suspended for the final. The UEFA, European soccer's governing body, changed the rule ahead of the 2014-15 edition of the Champions League, whereby any yellow cards accrued are wiped out after the quarterfinal stage.

My understanding is that when Son got his yellow, his 2nd yellow since the 1st round, it earned him a 1 match ban. After this game ended he has no yellows left to reset as they've already been converted to a ban. If he wasn't booked last night his 1st yellow would have been reset. So the ban stands...

That was my understanding at the time, hope I'm wrong...

Over 3200 posts in here and we didn't lose, must have been a good night :D

The neg reppers were out in force last night for this thread.

The usual suspects were frantically getting their jollies slapping their "doh's" "dislikes" and "spam" ratingswith gay abandon.

Embarrassing and worrying. They must be getting one hell of a kick out of it.

But they won't engage in debate or discussion.

What was possibly one of the greatest match threads ever was lit up crass ignorance and stupidity.

The best thing I've ever seen in a football game, was the ref's shrug of the shoulders when looking at Llorente's goal. Was such a huge huge moment.

My thought was that he was thinking “oh shit, I’ve got to give it, there’s nothing else I can do”. He was probably just wondering what the fuss was about and it was a goal.
