Where the fuckity fuck was Ndombele?

I've slept on it and i've still woken up angry that Sissoko and Alli came on before Lamela and Ndombele.

Nonsense.

For fuck sake.

This is my biggest annoyance as well, along with Lucas being taken off and even Bergwijn getting on before Lamela. Mason just got too much wrong for me yesterday. Ok Sissoko and Lamela are in different positions, but what the fuck has Dele done to be brought on before Ndombele or Lamela.

Wish Sky spoke about Foden more.

What a player though. Hopefully England get the best out of him as he's the second best player in the country behind Kane imo.
Fizz the ball into him and he'll collect it on the turn and then explodes away, amazing.

In terms of Winks all I can think of is

The amount we’ve heard that he’s a bad apple and the amount we’ve seen of his shite performances can’t leave any other explanation.
Watching him get the ball only to immediately kick it back to the player who passed it to him was infuriating. Whilst a player who tore city apart a couple of seasons ago sat in our bench. FFS, utter crap

mate we had to go long because we couldn't break the press at all it was that good- the only option we had was to try to get the ball behind their left back (Walker is to quick) and turn around there back 4 but even that is hard to do and where not set up for that

I agree. We're not collectively drilled enough to play through it, even if we did try. Which is why I think it was a real pity Ndombele didn't get minutes, he's basically been our way of getting through a press all year. He's not been great lately, but we all know he has it in his locker.

When you start a final with Winks in the first 11 you know you are in trouble. Then you compound matters by bringing on Sissoko. I said to my son when Sissoko came on that i it this game is definitely lost. For such a big lad he cannot jump of the floor he could have easily avoided that goal if he of just jumped. I'll be glad to see the back of Sissoko and Winks in the summer. To think they are/were both internationals.

Says a lot about the players we signed to replace them. 100m on Lo Celso and Ndombele...

And who played in that game...Winks and Sissoko. I can be upset with yesterday just as I can be upset in losing to Zagreb.

You can be upset even disappointed but we lost to a better side I don't think whoever we played would have made much difference but that we will never know. Sissoko made a mistake for the goal but Winks was no worse than most of the others -

Morning all.

Decided to use yesterday evening to take a step back & process the afternoon, rather than just come on here and spout a bunch of emotionally driven nonsense.

After an evening of reflection, I think our issues are really rather easy to understand.

We're a bit shit.

Did Neville and Tyler want to suck Fodens cock anymore. Nauseating commentary

Quite a few people seem to have had an issue with the commentators going on about Foden, so this isn't directed at you specifically. I'm just using your post because it's the first I came across this morning.

I don't understand the issue? We're happy to hear commentators praising our players (on the odd occasion that they show up) and, if we're honest, Foden is a VERY good player.

To stand out, when surrounded by truly world class talent is testament to just how good the lad is.

We don't have a single midfielder who is fit to lace his boots. 20 years old & performing to the levels he does. His future looks immense & his praise is well and truly deserved.

Both our midfield and defence need massive investment. We need one or two CBs and we need at least a couple of decent central midfielders. Winks was dreadful but honestly Ndombele was equally crap, if not worse, against Southampton. We need a couple of decent first choices and ship out the rest.

Well I avoided this thread yesterday as I didn't want to be more depressed than I was already. I was disappointed seeing Winks in the line up but hoped we might see a performance from him like the one against Real Madrid a few years ago when he was brilliant, however that didn't happen. Man City turned up and we didn't play well, good defensively although a little lucky at times and the luck eventually ran out. There's always next year ?

This place is toxic.

Can't believe I'm gonna say this, but it's really understandable.

The club is broken & there's people on here who have spent decades of their life invested in it. Both financially and emotionally.

I've never turned against the club or the players, but enough is enough!

It's fucking heartbreaking to see how far we've fallen in the space of a couple of seasons. And it's even more heartbreaking that, if we're honest with ourselves, we know that the obvious & much needed squad improvements are extremely unlikely to happen.

Audere Est Facere is just a fucking pipe dream!

I'd actually let one of them go this summer so we can actually buy some better players in the positions we are so weak.

Look deep within yourself, and I mean deep!

After doing that, do you honestly, hand on heart, believe that we'd actually bring in better players? With our (supposed) scouting & recruitment team?

Knowing that lot, they'd sell NDombele & Hojbjerg, then replace them by giving Sissoko and Winks new contracts.

Sorry but we're fucked!

That's fair enough but at one point they went on for a minute about how great he is because he ran fast. That was it. He dropped his shoulder and sprinted away from one of our players for like 3 yards. Cue a minute of how great he is. It was verging on ridiculous.

Why is it Levy’s fault? Oh I forgot - same old dross comes out because Levy chooses the players to sign and then tactically when he coaches them he is inept as well. How could anybody forget that about Levy. Oh and another thing - he had built the best stadium and trading favilities in the world because he wants us to fail and become a Championship side. How silly of me to forget that.

What a beautifully ironic typo.

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago when he had a shot that went about a yard wide, about a minute of 'beautiful techique this', 'perfect contact that'...it went wide and they showed it from about four angles ffs.

Audere Est Fuckery is the correct Latin spelling.
