He’ll either be sacked by Christmas or we’ll be building a statue of him outside the stadium in 4 years time.

I "hope" it's like Brighton's season - lots of fun but with the occasional thumping. However, what worries me is Sanchez trying to play it out of the back and manoeuvre in tight spaces and thus consequently getting robbed and punished.

I think the latter could see the crowd getting restless "any idiot can see this will never work", "why can't he be more pragmatic" etc etc which Ange will not do.

Either way, it should be better than being bored to death!
People forget Sanchez came from Ajax and at one point must have been able to play high and play football 🤣 maybe we broke him!

Not my choice, far from it but have to back him now. Like him more from my own research and testimonials from Celtic fans now too

Who would have thought a manager appointment would bring about so much joy. Eagerly awaiting for the season to start now!
Can't wait to see him on transfer deadline day leaning out his ute!

He'll get time. I think what he has going for him that Mourinho and Conte didn't was he's not the type to just start lambasting the club if things don't go his way. He's also got a chip on his shoulder that those two didn't/can't have given all their successes and the weight of their own names. I think we will see up and down performances, for sure. These players have played such timid football for years, there's no way you can just flip a switch and all of that ingrained meagerness can be forgotten. But, I know that if we start seeing signs, if the football looks good and is encouraging, the fans will come around and it will generate buy-in, even if the point totals aren't quite where we want to be. It's a lot easier to root for a team when you are at least being entertained. He's made squads with worse players play the type of football we have been pining for. So, if he gets these players on board, I think we have good things in store. I think he's got the mentality to weather that storm a bit, and from there, hopefully the time offered to get this right will bear fruit and things will begin to click again. I am hopeful and excited, which is a great way to feel about the club again.

Reo Hatate looks very good. I wonder if he could play as a creative 8/ 10 role for us.

I probably wouldn’t take anyone from Celtic, but you are correct to highlight Hatate. He’s the best of the lot, imo, Kyogo gets the headlines but Hatate is the most cultured and most technically proficient

Just been reading the Ange thread on a Celtic forum and overall they were extremely underwhelmed when he was appointed and absolutely gutted now.

The most complimentary comment I could find from back when he was appointed is that he looks like his breath would smell of coffee and Golden Virginia.

Giving this a watch/listen while working. It was posted yesterday, so there was mention re the contract length being 2 years with an extension, however Gold makes a lot of good points. It's well worth a watch/listen.

Sort of given up on his posts. Mostly about as interesting as our football has been post Poch. Maybe next season will be different all round
