Can anyone tell me how many managers there have been in the top division during the time Ferguson has been manager of ManU?
It's a bit of a blurry question because there have been millions of caretaker mangers (If I remember correctly Pleat has been caretaker for us on 3 separate occasions), and also some managers have had spells in charge of different teams.
I can only find statistics on Wikipedia for the Prem years but, believe it or not, football did exist before then apparently.
I think the definitive stat I'm after is the amount of full-time managerial appointments made in the top division since Ferguson was appointed in November '86.
Any ideas anyone? I reckon it'll be around the 300 mark.
