A full strength Spurs side JUST managed to beat an Arsenal side minus Fabregas, Arshavin, Gallas and a fully fit RVP.

nothing to worry about here, move along please.

To be fair, Spurs weren't exactly at full strength. Remember, their most dangerous player Lennon still out, Woodgate still out (as always), while their midfield enforcer Palacious along with Krancjar were suspended. Jenas was also missing but he is wank anyway.

If we finish above Spurs, we need to try and grab Bale off them, the best British left-back since Cashley Cole (or will be if he isn't already).

They can fuck right off!!!!

It's only the same as some of our fans speculating about trying to buy Milner

I'd have thought the most annoying thing from that exchange is the nob who says we were full strength. Woodgate, Palacios, Kranjcar, Lennon and remarkably Corluka who you would expect them to remember (Kranjcar possibly just as much seeing as he got 2 against them around Christmas). That's 5 first team regulars, just as many as Arsenal I reckon.

the thing is if they get 4th, the wallet will come out big time for them. even some of our yids might go to them if they quadruple their wages.

overall, unlikely though.

Why would it?

because theyve never been a big time club, they have NO history. They spent more money that anyone in the premier league last summer and are only vying for 4th spot.

We are the better club, plain and simple.

Did he? I wouldn't know as I've installed an anti-twat device that plugs directly into my brain, preventing me from hearing the idiotic ramblings of such pathetic wank-stains.

Anyone know if Paul Merson is still alive???

History? We cannot keep depending on things we did decades ago. The Premier League doesn't work like that.

Fact is, whether you like it or not, depending on how the league plays out, MC could well be a better move for Bale. If you were him and a club came along offering CL football and double your salary are you telling me you wouldn't see that as a step up?

Oh, wait. We must be deluded and think that Bale's loyalty to our history and the 50 year old double win means he's gonna get all he needs with us.

Reality check my friend. Football is business in the 21st Century. If he gets a better deal and if MC pay us some serious money for a transfer fee he'll go. End of....and that can happen even if we finish 4th.

like fuck that will happen, man shitty will dissipate into vapourised shit on a gutter under the shadow of man utd soon enough. id rather sell bale to the REAL manc team.. not some wannabe morlocks who added a "city" to then end of their name to distinguish themselves from their embaressigly more successful "rivals" (i put that in quoatation marks because before the fat arabs money came in they were lucky to even be in the same league).

Bale deserves better.

This isn't going to happen

Man City have hundreds of millions to spend whilst Man Utd have hundreds of millions to service

They may not make it this year, but sooner or later Man City will be a force to be reckoned with

To suggest otherwise would be foolish

Agreed. Although credit to nferno for using the word "morlocks". This place doesn't have enough HG Wells references!

if those plans, re stopping big money investors influencing the use of the transfer market to leapfrog other teams with financial muscle, that platini is looking to put in place come into play next season then it would surely be later. chelsea werent an instant success and there no rules in place then....

and Coalhada; where would we be without good literature?

I dont agree that going to City is a step down, but I do however think that if Bale is to leave (Please god (or some force out there) let it NOT happen) it will be for a club already established in the CL. Hope he goes to Spain or Italy IF it were to happen.

Levy better give him the improved 5 year contract this summer :)

Says it all.

I really would feel like giving up on football if Luka, Lennon, Bale etc left us for City.
