Amelia is seen as the natural successor to Buffon, I have watched him many times and this would be a dream signing.

concentration levels are high, all his basics are great and he is very young, big talent playing in a shit livorno side.

Lazio & Milan are watching aswell, would be a great coup to get him

I've been meaning to keep up with the Italian footy on 5, but there are only so many hours in the day. From what I've read, though, it does seem that if it wasn't for him Livorno would be Serie B bound.

Interesting, spartiata. Is Handonovic any good?

Are Inter really after Aaron "The new Figo" Lennon, as per those tabloid reports?
Handanovic is playing very well, I think that he could be a great goalkeeper, considering that he is 23 year old.
Controcampo is one of the most important newspapers in Italy, I'm sure that there is something of real about the interesting in Lennon of Inter. Controcampo says that we prefer Cristiano Ronaldo but that is very difficult, otherwise we will try to buy Speedy! That could be interesting also for Spurs because Inter would give in exchange Adriano. Now the Ex emperor is in pretty good shape and I think that in London he could become the stronger striker of the world.

I would be surprised if Robinson has a future at WHL. He signed his 7 year deal and got complacent and now he is paying the price.

I hope we will buy Samir Handanovic
Height 1.93 m (6 ft 4 in)

Amelia is the successor of Buffon just because in Italy we don't have good Italian goalkeepers!
Inter, Roma and Milan have a Brazilian goalkeeper!

6' 1". And no, we can't have him.

Also overrated, according to at least one of the Spanish posters who've joined since Ramos took over.

Casillas? He's the reason why Madrid are top of the league right now.

He always looks good to me, but I don't see him that often.

But it was Juande_Ramos who reckoned he was overrated, and he's a Barca fan.

I watched Real twice this year, and both times he was fucking amazing, making great saves all over.

And with reference to the height, being only 6'1, that's not that small for a keeper, but most of them these days are taller than that. Van Der Sar and Cech are both near 6'6, for example. Shay Given is the shortest starter in the League at 6'1.

Every post I make SpursSince57 has to find a negative to add.

Casilas overrated LMAO!!!

Not in my opinion. But then I don't see that much of La Liga, so my opinion doesn't count for much in this case. I was merely quoting someone who probably sees far more of it than anyone on SC.

Do try and read posts. You'll find it helps.

Spartiata, as someone who watches quite a bit of Italian soccer, you think Handanovic is better than Amelia? Interesting.

I agree that Italian keepers can't be much good if rubbish Brazilian keepers like Dida & Julio Cesar are preferred.

Handanovic really isn't that great. I would be worried if we were seriously interested in him. His positioning is weak and he isn't commanding. Udinese are my local team, he would be one of the last of their regulars who I would reccommend for us.

Have you seen much of Amelia? Is he any better than what we already have?
