I really doubt Dortmund will be paying him more than what we could afford. It was never on. We don't sign players on the kind of money that Gotze commands and with that kind of premium reputation. We try and sign those players before they get to that point.
Don't think it ever began tbh.BILD now reporting he's off to Dortmund on a 5-year deal for €28m.
It's over
Dortmund's transfer strategy: Sell 'em and get 'em back a few years later for lesser fees. Working brilliantly for them - Sahin, Kagawa, Gotze. Ironically after losing so many good players from last year's team, they've got almost 2011's double-winning side back.

Hopefully the case. Would love to see Gundogan and Mkitaryan struggle at Manc clubs. Is this a case of the tactical set-ups extending the actual real talent of the individual players?
I've noticed this with ex-Arsenal players and indeed our own in the Euro's,
seemed to be less effective outside of the tactical set-ups in which they had excelled.
63 pages and not one shred of credible evidence that he is anything like a target never mind any chance of him coming!!! Laughable how people on here chase rainbows and clutch at straws!
