Martin Jol's Revenge!

Sunday 13 May 2012: 16.00 venue White Hart Lane. We've stumbled to the finishing line needing a point for fourth spot and a place in next season's qualifying round of the Champions League.

Only needing to draw with Fulham in the last game of the season sounds reasonable enough, but the Martin Jol factor, and his desire for revenge against Levy for the shoddy way he was sacked that UEFA Cup night at WHL against Getafe will no doubt come back to haunt us. I wondered when I saw the fixtures at the start of the season why we had to wait so long to welcome the big Dutchman back to WHL. Now I know. It's written in the stars, Karma if you like, that BMJ is gonna spoil our party in the very last game of the season just like Wet Spam did in 2005.

I can see this happening. Football has a habit of doing things like this.

This weekend Amauri the big expensive flop who was ridiculed for most of his time at Juventus, so much so that in the summer when he refused a last minute transfer Juve just simply refused to acknowledge his existence! So this weekend he popped up at the San Siro to score a late winner for Fiorentina against Milan...a result that helped Juventus go top! Not really the same but still ironic the guy comes good...sort of

Clint Dempsey or Pavel Pogb, Pogrb, the big Russian will come up with a ninety fifth minute winner. Redknapp and his two fellow dinosaurs Jordan and Bond will be sitting in their seats with their hands in their pockets same as usual.

With 6 points from 8 games, we won't be in contention on the last day of the season unless our form dramatically improves

Martin Jol's plan for revenge involves a group of men dressed up as George, Zippy and Bungle trying to convince Redknapp to play 4-4-2 on the last day of the season.

I just hope Redknapp hated Rainbow.

Probably a bit too late for Harry's childhood. Try Andy Pandy, Teddy and Looby Loo.

I mean stuff like Dennis Law relegating Man United, John Terry popping up with the winner vs Stoke in the week his affair came out, ex-players haunting their old clubs

Will be strange singing for our ex-manager whilst it will be our current manager's last game, who most Spurs fans aren't too fond of.

Really? I thought the majority of those that go to the games actually like Harry. It's just on t'internet that he gets roundly slated at any and every opportunity but I'm sure every team has fans like that and to be fair everyone is entitled to their opinion

Maybe, I don't know, I use this forum mainly for the views of other Spurs fans. Haven't been to many games this year, but he isn't too popular at the moment it seems on here

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he score the winner, playing for Man City against Man Utd, that effectively sent them down. Back in the 70s sometime? I may be wrong, as I wasn't even born then! But I was reasonably sure thats how it went...
Anyway, who cares though, this is Spurs Chat....

no. he didn't. norwich had already won, meaning united were down before they lost to city. denis law's goal didn't relegate united. they were down already.

It is destiny....

As Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father, so Martin Jol's Fulham will beat us.

He will even taunt us about it. Telling us it is useless to resist and that we don't know the power of the dark side.

Mohammad Al-the Emperor will be watching.
