Cant believe how cheap we got bentancur for and Romero is just a boss! MoTm for me.

Every single player was superb (other than Lloris having a bit of a shaky game).

Kane getting MOTM on TV is understandable but my vote goes to Romero.

Romero, bentancur and kulusevski have added something to this team.
Bring in another 4/5 in the summer and we start to look very good.

Went for Romero, but the usual suspects.

Such a good team performance (in the second half), everyone chipping in. Even in the first half it was more a good defensive display by Newcastle than a bad display by spurs.

The only real criticism I have is that son shouldn't be allowed to defend, he is a bit of a disaster in our half.

Good to see the subs coming on and doing well (all of them). Special mention for Doherty who has gone from zero to hero. Probably the only wingback we know will be playing.

Romero.
Snuffed out all the danger, bossed the defence and gave us the platform to have that second half.

I went with Kane for MotM simply because it was him dropping deeper to connect play that gave us an outlet. I didn't think before that we knew what to do going forward.

Romero got me as he kept us in the game. He looks every inch the world class defender he was mooted to be

Kane and Romero were probably just above the others.

But Dier, Doherty (out of position), Bentancur, Son and Kulusevski right up with them.
Lloris didn't have much to do, but every outfield player played well

Team effort for me today. All did their jobs well. A pleasure to watch the lads destroy BloodMoney FC

Some brilliant performances today:
Kane, quiet first half, but conducted the whole orchestra in the second, a class apart and seems to be getting better.
Romero, a beast at the back, seems to be improving as he settles in the UK.
Bentantcur, a Rolls-Royce in the middle, always looking for the ball, always looking to move it forward , has a bit of bite , I have no idea why Juve thought it was a good idea to release him.
Deki, again another impressive performance, right place at right time and quality in passing.
Son, at fault for the free leading to their goal, but then sets up and scores, getting back to his best.

Asap team it was a very good performance, scoring one of the best team goals this yr. Hugo will be disappointed not to gave kept their goal out, but at least it was in a 5-1 win and not a 2-2 draw, better to come hopefully.
Well done to Matt Doherty and Ben Davies on their goals.
Royal still worries me greatly, despite a better performance in 2nd half
A great win and fantastic to get one over Newcastle, their owners and everything they stand for in football.
Couple that with our wins over City and we have been the antidote to that lot this year.

Romero was as close as a defender can get to a 10. Amazing throughout. World class.

Kane, Son, Dier, Kulusevski, Davies, Bentancur, Højbjerg all very good. Doherty also gets special mention for a goal and an assist, and could have had a second goal if Son wasn’t there to finish off Kulusevski’s cross.

Lloris let in a soft one which his team mates bailed him out for. Emerson was also pretty poor apart from his goal.

I thought all the subs did really well and gave us new energy.

Gooooood sheeeeeit.

It's really starting to come together.

Very clear that we're a significantly better team when we're in the lead and the opposition is forced to attack us. The first half was much more of a 50/50 contest, akin to the Burnley/Wolves games but once we went 2-1 up we absolutely destroyed them.

If we can add a few players that add a little bit of guile and technique for when we're on the ball against a sitting defence, we could be a very serious proposition indeed.

When there's space behind I genuinely think we have the best attack in the league (or at least very close to Liverpool/City) but when the opposition let us keep the ball and sit deep we're decidedly upper-mid table. Need to fix that side of our game if we want to seriously challenge the top clubs.
